I personally would have attached moss rubber to the edge of the container before the containers are put together. Because the moss rubber does not let the water through from the outside and no wind. From the outside, then, use steel strips to cover the containers. Then remove the rust and paint with paint.
Thanks Julie. Sorry I couldn't livestream. A bit risky a procedure (with floating 12,000 pound steel boxes and all 😉).....and yeah it feels great. More to come soon!
@@thinkoutsidethecontainer yeah Dude! If I were you, I'd sleep in it as is for at least 1 night, and plot and scheme for what's to come if it. Congrats! Super exciting!
Lol yeah become one with the container. I'd say I'm about halfway through the project at this point and it will generally be easier going forward, in part because I've gained so much experience and skills
where is the full video of crane day ? ive been watching all your videos but avent foud the one where they put your containers on top of the concrete piers..
If everyone did this everyone would be in a happier place. Get the mortgage boot off your neck. If you get into financial trouble you can mortgage your property and walk away with cash. We are getting mortgage first then are worried when we cant pay. What a stressful way to live
I will definitely say I think its a shame it took me till I was 32 years old to start building my own home. I think it could be such an amazing "coming of age" journey for men to build their own homes--mortgage free. Wish I'd statred building my home when I was 12 😆
@@thinkoutsidethecontainer in the past 3 months i have bought 5 lots that have mobile homes on them i have 5 kids my plans are to move the mobile home and build houses on each one. I hope they realize the importance of these. If not they will be rent houses. 🤣🤣🤣

@@thinkoutsidethecontainer It was probably better not to livestream - your attention might have been divided. I'm just glad it's worked out.
So happy for you!🥳🥳 Staying tuned!!!
Good job man! It finally happened!
Awesome 👏 I’m very excited for you my brother !
Thanks Nahome
Good progress, you're almost at the home stretch
Thanks Bob!
Hey man! That's cool! You practically have a house! Sweet!
Lol yes Rachael. I mean if I just stopped building now I do have a pretty solid shelter....which would double as an oven....but a shelter no less lol
