    Nothing left to over-analyse, the Warriors and Cavs have played twice this year and split the season series 1-1. Last year the series came down to the last 50 seconds of Game 7, this year both teams dominated their respective conferences in the playoffs to reach the Finals. It can go either way, we know what Lebron and Kyrie will do, we know what KD and Curry can potentially do. It's going to come down to which team makes their open shots, and which teams "third options" i.e. Kevin Love, Klay Thompson do for their respective teams. If Klay struggles and Kevin Love plays the way he has so far, I expect the Cavs to win in 6. However if Klay gets back to his hot shooting and Kevin Love has a repeat performance from last year's Finals, I could see the Warriors winning in 5. It all depends, we just have to wait and see. Either team could win it, and although I'm rooting for the Cavs I just hope both teams play to their potential and we get the best Finals series of all-time.

    The Cavs sweep the Eastern Confrence: East is weak
    Warriors sweep the Western Confrence: West is tough
    Lebron passes up the ball to an open teamate: He's scared to shoot
    Warriors passes up the ball to an open teamate: Good ball movement
    LeBron asks for a playmaker: He needs all the help

    LeBron joins a 47 win team: LeBron sucks and can't win on his own
    Kevin Durant joins a 73 win team: Warriors fit his playstyle and has the right to sign where he wants
    Cavs draft LeBron, Kyrie, Tristan: 3/5 of their starting lineup and 2/3 of their all stars: Their team is too stacked
    Warriors draft Steph, Klay, Draymond: 3/5 of their starting lineup and 2/3 of their all stars: The Warriors built their roster the right way
    Warriors blew a 3-1 lead to the Cavs: The NBA is rigged
    OKC blew a 3-1 lead to the Warriors: The NBA is fair

    Warriors beat LeBron in 2015 NBA Finals when Kyrie and Love were out: A loss is a loss
    Cavs beat Warriors in 2016 NBA Finals: Dosn't count, Draymond was suspended, Bogut was injured, Curry and Igoudala wern't 100%
    In 2007, LeBron took the Cavs to the finals at 22. He beat the well oiled championship contender pistons while on his path.
    In 2011, he got past a 62 win Bulls and a 56 win Boston Celtics.
    In 2012, he got thru a 50 win Bulls team who were on track to winning 60+ games but it was the blackout season. And the Indiana Pacers who were on track to winning 52.
    In 2014, he beat the Indiana Pacers again who were a 56 win team.
    Etc. It's not like he's never had to deal with competition. There is competition in the east. Just not in the 1st rounds.
    Michael didn't face harder teams in the first round. He just didn't share the ball and it hurt him.
    People really find anything to hate on LeBron James bruh.

    MJ lovers cling religiously to his 6-0 Finals record because the other 9 years he played aren't pretty:
    1. He never lead the Bulls to a .500 or better record by himself.
    2. He couldn't get his team higher than a 7 or 8 seeds in the playoffs by himself.
    3. He couldn't win a playoff series by himself (3 straight 1st rd exits).
    4. He was only able to win 1 playoff game by himself (1-9 playoff record his1st 3 years; swept twice).
    5. He never won a playoff series without Pippen.
    6. MJ had to retire in the middle of his prime to cover up a gambling suspension.
    7. The Bulls won 55 games without MJ the 1st year of his retirement.
    8. MJ came back the following year w/ 17 games left, and couldn't get the Bulls past the 2nd rd.
    9. MJ needed a 3rd future HOF'r (Rodman) to compete for more titles.
    10. MJ never beat a great team loaded with 3 or 4 future HOF'rs in their prime to win his titles.
    11. MJ was only able to make 6 Finals runs in 15 seasons.
    12. MJ won all his titles in an extremely watered down, expansion-heavy decade (the 90s).
    13. MJ couldn't lead the Wizards to a .500 or better record his last 2 years.
    14. MJ couldn't lead the Wizards to the playoffs his last 2 years.

    • @C2Poke
      @C2Poke Před 7 lety

      jan279 - There's ALWAYS a lame excuse for MJ.
      - MJ lost in the 1st rd to the Bucks in '85. That wasn't an all-time great team.
      - If MJ was really the greatest player to ever play, he should have been able to AT LEAST lead his team to a 6-seed or better by himself. If he had done that, he wouldn't have been facing an all-time great Celtics team in the 1st rd.
      - '94 Bulls w/o MJ eliminated in gm 7 of the 2nd rd. '95 Bulls w/ MJ eliminated in gm 6 of the 2nd rd.
      - The only reason MJ never failed to make the playoffs as a Bull was because records of 38-44, 30-52 & 40-42 were good enough to make the playoffs in his first 3 seasons. That's no accomplishment. It's actually an indictment against MJ that he wasn't great enough to lift his team above .500 by himself.
      - MJ wasn't on the verge of leading the Wizards anywhere but the lottery. They had the exact same record both years (37-45). He finished his career just like he started it: unable to lift a bad team to an above-.500 record by himself.
      - Your last point is your weakest. Doesn't matter that MJ didn't jump ship. He didn't have to. Bulls mgmt gave him Pippen and Grant in his 4th season. Lebron still didn't have a competent #2 after 7 seasons because Cavs mgmt was so incompetent. He didn't "jump ship". He made the smart and sensible decision.

    • @jan279
      @jan279 Před 7 lety

      First off, I don't even believe there's a GOAT because basketball's a team game. Second, you're comparing a ROOKIE Jordan to a 4th year man LeBron, who actually beat a Pistons team who lost their best defensive player and rebounder in 4x DPOY Ben Wallace. As far as your argument 'bout LeBron "playing great but losing due to lack of help" is concerned , that's basically Jordan in his early days, which you Jordan haters are using against MJ mocking his 1st round exits against great teams.

    • @C2Poke
      @C2Poke Před 7 lety

      jan279 - C'mon now. ROOKIE Jordan was 21 years old. He was coached by the great Dean Smith for 3 years at UNC, and he was teammates with other future NBA stars during those 3 years. MJ was extremely well prepared to have early success in the NBA. Lebron was 22 years old in his 4th year, and he went to the NBA straight out of high school. He was never coached by a HOF college coach and he didn't have future NBA stars as teammates that could challenge him and prepare him for NBA-level competition. At age 19, Lebron lead the Cavs to 35 wins that only won 17 games the previous year (he added 18 more wins as a 19-yr-old ROOKIE straight out of high school). At age 20, Lebron lead the Cavs to an above-.500 record (42-40) BY HIMSELF; a better record than any of MJ's first 3 years, even though he didn't make the playoffs with that record. At age 21, Lebron lead the Cavs to a 50-win season and won a playoff series BY HIMSELF. At age 22, Lebron beat the Pistons in the ECF and got the Cavs into the Finals BY HIMSELF. It doesn't matter that DET didn't have Ben Wallace. They were in the ECF without Ben Wallace because they still had a starting 5 of Chauncey Billups, Richard "Rip" Hamilton, Chris Webber, Tayshaun Prince and Rasheed Wallace. That's the starting 5 Lebron was going against BY HIMSELF. Who gives a f**k that Ben Wallace didn't play? DET was still the more talented team by far.
      The difference between Lebron and MJ's early days is that Lebron did more with less. Lebron got his team's farther. He got his team to the 2nd rd, ECF and Finals while Jordan couldn't get out of the 1st rd.

    • @jan279
      @jan279 Před 7 lety

      It doesn't matter how long you stay in college or how well-coached you were there, the NBA is a different animal. Take Christian Laettner for example, dude spent 4 years in college coached by the great Mike Krzyzewski, did that turn him into a great NBA player? The difference is you're comparing LeBron with 4 years NBA experience to a ROOKIE Jordan. Who gives a f**k 'bout Ben Wallace not playing? 4 DPOY trophies, 5 All-NBA Team selections and 2 rebounding titles says you should. If the Pistons were so superior, how come Boobie Gibson was playing more efficiently than the "great" Chauncey Billups, including a 31-point performance in the closeout game? How come nobody on the Pistons could match Big Z in rebounding? lol

    • @jan279
      @jan279 Před 7 lety

      Dude, like I said earlier, I don't believe there's a GOAT in basketball. What I'm just trying to show you are facts about Jordan which you Jordan haters just can't seem to bring yourselves to accept. I think it's pretty obvious you're just trying to undermine Jordan's accomplishments to make it seem like LeBron is this far superior basketball player.

    Stop with the MJ comparisons already. The only reason MJ never faced "so many all-stars at once" is because free agency didn't allow players to move around so freely and teams actually played real defence meaning ain't nobody in those days gonna be scoring like teams and players do today. Which is part of what makes MJ so special that he could score and win as much as he did in an era that was deemed by the NBA as being "too slow and low scoring". It's a pointless comparison.

      He's a good center, but definitely not top 5. D Jordan, Gobert, Cousins, AD(more of a PF), Drummond, Whiteside, Porzingis, there's a decent amount of centers ahead of him. You put any of the guys I just named on the Cavs and they instantly become better defensively, offensively, and in rebounding.

    Hate to say it but skip is right on this one. We can't go by stats to dictate if a guy is playing well. KD and Steph have disappeared in the post season consistently. When it matters, in money time, your stars need to be at their best. The cavs matchup with golden state BETTER than anyone else. KD or LBJ, taking LBJ every time. Steph or Kyrie, taking kyrie every time as a PG who has proven he can be insanely clutch in the playoffs and most importantly the finals. Draymond or KLove Tristan Thompson combo, too obvious. Klay is there but KLove and JR smith more than make up that slack. Cavs have a deeper bench while GSW just have iggy. Stop acting like Lebron is taking down legends....

      Draymond is probably dpoy,a better leader and overall better player I mean just look at last year if draymond doesnt get suspended in game 5 hes possibly finals mvp I agree with you on your points i still think that draymond has had a significantly better season, also hes an elite passer.

    • @pgb4629
      @pgb4629 Před 7 lety

      My hunch is that draymond will always play elite defense as that is always a less variable production in a player while kevin love i think will struggle greatly offensively, I hope not being a spurs fan my only wish for the finals is that its as tight and exciting as possible regardless of the outcome. I hope if the spurs can clear cap space next year and they get a good point guard I would love to have draymond that would be a defensive monster! the small ball twin towers x)

  • @RicRugerFlare

    They are lying when they say LBJ has faced tougher teams than MJ. I will concede to the 07' and 14' Spurs and 16' Warriors, but the Mavericks (which beat them), OKC were a young, inexperienced team with only KD as their only superstar at the time, and the 15' Warriors which came out of nowhere beat them. This "stacked team" or "face more HOF than Jordan" narrative is a weak argument because LBJ has played with more HOFers, superstars, and all-stars than Jordan. FACTS!

    Everyone says GSW is a super team... so are the Cavs. That's why it's been a two team race this whole time. The only team that remotely stood a chance had their best player taken out (Kawhi and the Spurs) and even then they were not expected to win more than 2 games at MOST. This will likely be a 7 game series. Forget Vegas odds, people are vastly underrating the Cavs.
