Painkiller? That is very far from a masterpiece like Revelations or Rime of the Ancient Mariner, it was a commercial metal song. It wasn't even close to one of Priests best songs, all their best work was on Screaming for Vengeance and earlier, that's what defined the band.

Preston there are so many Iron Maiden songs I want you to react to...I’ll name many in no particular order but if I put an * then you should do that one right away:
Where Eagles Dare*, Sea of Madness*, Number of the Beast*, Caught Somewhere In Time*, Still Life*, Die With Your Boots On*, To Tame A Land*, Children of the Damned*, Alexander The Great*, The Prisoner*, Seventh Son of a Seventh Son*, Stranger In a Strange Land*, Wasted Years*, The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner*, Infinite Dreams*, The Clairvoyant*, Ghost of the Navigator*, The Longest Day*, Rime of the Ancient Mariner*, 22 Acacia Avenue*, Quest for Fire*, Sun and Steel*,
I know you love Bruce as do I but, you need to react to songs off their first two albums:
The Ides of March/Wrathchild, Innocent Exile, Killers, Prodigal Son, Purgatory, Drifter, Murders In the Rue Morgue, Genghis Khan (instrumental), Prowler, Remember Tomorrow, Phantom of the Opera, Charlotte the Harlot,
And last but definitely not least. Iron Maiden released the greatest live album of all time “Live After Death”. Every song that is on here is better than the studio versions.
Hope to see you react to many more Iron Maiden tunes

Wasted Years is a cool song you might like. Sign of the Cross is with a different singer (Blaze Bayley) who had an impossible task replacing Bruce but you seem to like the epic, moody songs and the Sign of the Cross is a pretty cool song. I always thought that was one of their darkest, moodiest albums.
