I love how he just kept repeating Dawn’s elimination, I was so pissed off that she was voted out because her character was really interesting and I really wanted to see more of it
0:51 I think this could have been fixed by putting Staci in the Maggots. It would have made sense because she was the last one to reach the finish line right after Sam (who Chris put in the Rats) and Scott's plan of making their team lose hadn't started
I remember watching episodes of Total Drama back in like 5th grade and Dawn is definitely my favorite character out of every single character that ever competed in Total Drama.
I almost wonder what it would have been like if the TDPI cast and the TDRI cast debuted together in the same season. Obviously some characters would have to be changed and plots would be different but I think it would’ve been interesting and honestly probably better solely because more episodes to develop things.
I'm actually working on a fanfiction like that! but its sorta of a rewrite and stuff than just merging the two seasonings together. One of the main things I would be doing is actually splitting Zoey into 2 different people. Zoey (with her first design with the glasses, mole, and ponytail) and Molly (Zoey's old design with the black hair). There would also be an alliance with Ella, Sammie, Dawn, and Jasmine. Scarlett would tell Scott about this and She would secretly try and infiltrate the alliance and secretly cause each member's elimination. Like convincing Sugar to falsely accuse Ella of singing again, frame Dawn for being a thief, egg Amy on to take it too far with Sammie, and then finally to try and get rid of Jasmine but fail due to Scott unable to sabotage Jasmine and Scarlett's plan backfiring to someone self. Amy and Sammie's dynamic would be slightly altered to make more sense. Like for one, making Amy actually being nice to other contestants and being less whiny. Some of that whininess would be transferred to Sammie actually, mainly because their parents favorited Sammie more than Amy (which made Amy bitter over Sammie and would explain why Amy was always trying to one-up Sammie, it was the only attention she got since her parents spoiled Sammie) Staci would still be a compulsive liar about her family, but she would have a scene on how she feels about family and how she cherishes them, she could play a role in the Amy and "Samey" dynamic as well. Perhaps have Sammie realized the main reason why Amy was so mean to her and try to fix that. I'm still eliminating Staci early though. Plus it would be funny to have Dawn have a confessional where she says "I know full well that Staci's family achievements are all... untruthful. but Staci's aura tells me that she actually believes in her own lies!" Probably revamp majority of the Pahkitew island cast. Topher wouldn't try to be the new host in this fanfic, but rather try to get Total Drama shut down forever for being dangerous. Scarlett mentioned in her Audition that total drama is what caused... a lot of troubled behavior of "today's youth". I could see Scarlett and Topher have a duo before Topher goes down the rabbit hole and try to expose Chris too early. I can go on and on like how Ella just being a theatre geek who likes singing and bonding with Dawn over animals, Dave only being a germaphobe, Make Max into an edgelord and not a supervillain, Jasmine being a foreigner from Australia who feels like she's the only one in her country thats a fan of total drama, Shaun being just a doomsday prepper with Molly understanding him on where's he coming from, etc etc.
I believe this season would have had 14 characters if Blaineley hadn't been a contestant last season(So we could get the same amount of boys and girls competitors)
I thought Ezekiel and the other old campers should've had more a more prominent role. I know Ezekiel had the most prominent role out of all the OG campers but wish the others could've shown up more
I'll probably get some flack for this, but Revenge Of The Island is one of my top three favorite Total Drama seasons. The others being Ridonculous Race and Total Drama Island.

The main (and probably only) problem for me is how little time some of the best characters got. It's an easy problem to fix though. Just include them in the next season (which I hope is a better version of All Stars).

Scott officially became my most hated character after Grand Chef Auto… he really exploited and blackmailed a guy’s mental disorder for his own personal gain then knocked him out while his disability was in effect… that’s probably the most messed up thing in the show but everyone seems to skip past that and deem Scott as their favorite character.
Scott was a really enjoyable villain. I would like to the final be Scott vs. Zoey, since they had an actual rivarly and a real reason to hate each other (unlike Lightning and Cameron)
RR Problems: 1. Little Bull On The Prairie is favouritism AGAIN like shit. 2. Stepbrothers are ridiculously eliminated. 3. Ummm... the locations? 4. OWEN 5. No one had improved in the finale. 6. Friendship Finale? 7. In Medditerrean Homesick Blues, Father and Sons penalty did not even make sense. 8. CAN THE VEGANS GET OVER THE FRIKIN MEAT. 9. New Beijinging was disgusting. 10. How Deep Is Your Love was boring, thanks. 11. Some teams are underrated. 12. Mom and Daughter were in for too long. 13. Some of the botch or watches were unorganized FP. 14. They really make Junior act stupid. That's wrong. 15. The special bonuses were DontCare. 16. The Goths came in first to be last in a very clear way. 17. Some teams have high rankings for no reason because they would lose it. 18. Bogus challenges. 19. Some of the location explanations are stupid. 20. Some locations were the same. 21. Jacques and Josee were like the only villians. 22. We don't some much of some of the teams which stinks. 23. That scariness of Romania was purely pathetic. 24. Pointless characters? And.... 25. One more extra thing, I don't know why they were setting up something with B and Dawn only for him to get the boot in episode 3. Like the elements were there, and it would've felt natural, but it was missed potential imo
I personally think they should've waited an episode or two to pair Mike and Zoe, they just kinda hook up. Most every other couple had some chemistry before they confirmed it :/
I love roti, 100% best 13 episode season, if it has more characters and 26 episodes it wouldve been my all time fav, but even without that, its still my 3rd fav season.
To be quite honest, I think Total Drama Revenge of the Island has been quite a sad season. The fun in TDWT has ended, and if I would watch it, I may feel like looking backwards to TDWT.
Before this, I was already weirded by the repeated voice acting. Like when Lindsay screamed in this season and then when the intern was flinged from the hurl of shame, I was like: Hey, isn’t that Lindsay’s voice? And when Dakota (Dakotazoid) yelled, it was reused when she was fling. And there are also way more.
This season was meh for me, my biggest personal issue was that it focused on the wrong characters. A lot of characters I liked were pre merge boots, (I liked Jo, Scott and Lightning, who made the merge) sam had potential and I liked his relationship with Dakota, and I really liked Dakota, Anne Maria, B and especially Dawn and Brick, and they were all interesting. The sad thing is, none of those made the merge, and the more boring characters (lame Cameron, most boring character Mike and worst TD character Zoey) made it farther while they were eliminated early. Island, my fave season did a great job of eliminating boring characters early (Ezekiel, Noah, Justin, Katie and Sadie) and developing the interesting characters. The previous 3 seasons had strong females like Heather, Courtney and Gwen as their lead females, but our lead female here is a whiny little damsel in distress who can't look after herself. It's sad this season had potential and could have been one of my faves if it focused on Brick, Dawn, Dakota, B, Anne Maria or Sam even possibly instead of the boring trio (Cameron, Mike and Zoey). Cameron shouldn't have made finale because he was a floater and couldn't do things on his own and the only reason he got that far was he was carried by Mike and Zoey. It is disappointing that we haven't seen enough of Dakota, Anne Maria, B, or especially Brick and Dawn because they wanted to focus on some really boring trio (lame Cameron, most boring TD character Mike and worst character in TD Zoey). They have been heavily requested for TDAS, but we could've seen them if they didn't want to push the boring trio in our faces, they could've made merge and TDAS instead of them. Brick is my 4th favorite TD character. I even found this pic on the internet saying the contestants in tdri with unique interesting personalities and ones that were eliminated early and all of them were the pre merge boots.I disagreed with staci because shes annoying as heck and sam isn't very interesting aside from his relationship with dakota.
I have an idea, if you want to tackle it. Like how you remade All-Stars in your vision, you should totally do the same with ROTI. You bring up valid criticisms and I’d like to see how you might handle certain decisions. This is also just something I thought of, if you did use this idea. If you plan to keep that cast the same, I would add Kitty from the Ridonculous Race into the cast to fix the missing female contestant. Then I’d eliminate her seventh, having her get out due to Scott’s immunity idol play. Might be interesting? Dunno. I’m binging this series again and I figured it might be a cool video idea.
It's nice that you would trust in me with your idea, but the thing is, I'm not feeling it... it does sound like an interesting idea but I do not feel strong about it.... However, why don't you tackle it? These videos, although time consuming they are not that hard to make and they do challenge your creative skills and you grow a lot from them in creative terms... If you do it I'd be the first one to comment. Perhaps you can do that in the same as I did... I'd be flattered
Some things u forgot: Brick and Dawn should've made merge instead of Zoey and Mike Commando Zoey- Obsessive Zoey fans love her for this, but this is one of the reasons she is my least favorite character. She hates Scott mostly because he eliminated Mike, and even hurts him for it. But she became Commando Zoey over her FREAKING MIKE MEDAL, this is what a 4 YEAR OLD would do, she just wants revenge on all people because MIKE HER BOO get eliminated. 2 more you could've mentioned: In Backstabbers Ahoy: Zoey do you care more about Mike liking you or Jo's life? When Mike pumps air to Jo she steps on the cord, blocking the air flow to Jo. In UUAIMPB: Zoey, do you know Scott could die falling from that high? (When she has the goats breathe fire on his wings)
Scott exploited a guy’s mental disorder and blackmailed him with it… did you not watch the show? Scott had it coming and deserved every last bit of it.

One more extra thing, I don't know why they were setting up something with B and Dawn only for him to get the boot in episode 3. Like the elements were there, and it would've felt natural, but it was missed potential imo

I personally think they should've waited an episode or two to pair Mike and Zoe, they just kinda hook up. Most every other couple had some chemistry before they confirmed it :/

I love roti, 100% best 13 episode season, if it has more characters and 26 episodes it wouldve been my all time fav, but even without that, its still my 3rd fav season.

To be quite honest, I think Total Drama Revenge of the Island has been quite a sad season. The fun in TDWT has ended, and if I would watch it, I may feel like looking backwards to TDWT.

Before this, I was already weirded by the repeated voice acting. Like when Lindsay screamed in this season and then when the intern was flinged from the hurl of shame, I was like: Hey, isn’t that Lindsay’s voice?
And when Dakota (Dakotazoid) yelled, it was reused when she was fling. And there are also way more.
This season was meh for me, my biggest personal issue was that it focused on the wrong characters. A lot of characters I liked were pre merge boots, (I liked Jo, Scott and Lightning, who made the merge) sam had potential and I liked his relationship with Dakota, and I really liked Dakota, Anne Maria, B and especially Dawn and Brick, and they were all interesting. The sad thing is, none of those made the merge, and the more boring characters (lame Cameron, most boring character Mike and worst TD character Zoey) made it farther while they were eliminated early. Island, my fave season did a great job of eliminating boring characters early (Ezekiel, Noah, Justin, Katie and Sadie) and developing the interesting characters.
The previous 3 seasons had strong females like Heather, Courtney and Gwen as their lead females, but our lead female here is a whiny little damsel in distress who can't look after herself. It's sad this season had potential and could have been one of my faves if it focused on Brick, Dawn, Dakota, B, Anne Maria or Sam even possibly instead of the boring trio (Cameron, Mike and Zoey). Cameron shouldn't have made finale because he was a floater and couldn't do things on his own and the only reason he got that far was he was carried by Mike and Zoey.
It is disappointing that we haven't seen enough of Dakota, Anne Maria, B, or especially Brick and Dawn because they wanted to focus on some really boring trio (lame Cameron, most boring TD character Mike and worst character in TD Zoey). They have been heavily requested for TDAS, but we could've seen them if they didn't want to push the boring trio in our faces, they could've made merge and TDAS instead of them. Brick is my 4th favorite TD character. I even found this pic on the internet saying the contestants in tdri with unique interesting personalities and ones that were eliminated early and all of them were the pre merge boots.I disagreed with staci because shes annoying as heck and sam isn't very interesting aside from his relationship with dakota.

I have an idea, if you want to tackle it. Like how you remade All-Stars in your vision, you should totally do the same with ROTI. You bring up valid criticisms and I’d like to see how you might handle certain decisions.
This is also just something I thought of, if you did use this idea. If you plan to keep that cast the same, I would add Kitty from the Ridonculous Race into the cast to fix the missing female contestant. Then I’d eliminate her seventh, having her get out due to Scott’s immunity idol play. Might be interesting? Dunno. I’m binging this series again and I figured it might be a cool video idea.
It's nice that you would trust in me with your idea, but the thing is, I'm not feeling it... it does sound like an interesting idea but I do not feel strong about it....
However, why don't you tackle it? These videos, although time consuming they are not that hard to make and they do challenge your creative skills and you grow a lot from them in creative terms... If you do it I'd be the first one to comment. Perhaps you can do that in the same as I did... I'd be flattered

Commando Zoey- Obsessive Zoey fans love her for this, but this is one of the reasons she is my least favorite character. She hates Scott mostly because he eliminated Mike, and even hurts him for it. But she became Commando Zoey over her FREAKING MIKE MEDAL, this is what a 4 YEAR OLD would do, she just wants revenge on all people because MIKE HER BOO get eliminated.
