  • Today on The Crown Factory, Woody's Wagon is in the Shed to replace the Radiator with an EBay MA70 Supra Alloy unit along with fitting a GFB Boost Gauge to confirm that the SuperCharger is actually working.
We also attempted to install some Disc Brakes to the rear but it ended up being a bit of a fail due to Al's past antics with his 2JZ Crown....

eBay has been surprisingly useful for me after not really using it much for 10 years. used to buy motorbike bits on there all the time... just installed a cheap ebay radiator in my car (206) after a plastic crack started while driving back from the GC. and yeah, those clips are annoying with pliers. forgot about the multigrips sitting in the toolbox. kept the same crappy hose though...

Cracked the welds clean off the pumpkin and pulled the axle tube out.
Ended up cutting the guts out of the diff with a angle grinder. The real kicker, after cleaning up the welds, the tube when back in, and nothing was out of wack. Didn't even bend the flange with the puller.

I'd make sure you earth that rad. Stainless, cast-iron, aluminum good recipe for electrolysis in the coolant to eat a weak spot in the radiator.
Ebay radiators make so much more sense than some expensive like PWR types, particularity on street cars, that only get given odd hits.

Please check out the part number GWT-70A for the water pump. That part number does not include a pulley. This pump should fit a 1g-gze. genuine part number was 16100-79055 which is no longer available. Hope this helps.
