Interesting and well acted play about possible events from a time long ago which should not be judged by the lens of today. It’s odd in a way that people today often treat animals and pets far better than their fellow man. Enjoyed the story on 6/9/2022.
Not sure I'm ready to listen to this one from the comments about cruelty to the animals.

I thought the Bible said we're supposed to be caretakers of the animals, and not to waste them unscrupulously. I think they have souls. Bible quote anyone?
The only quote that comes to mind is the one about not killing. I guess that wasn’t meant to include animals even though it doesn’t stipulate not just killing people.
Read Genesis ch 1 vs 26 , where God gives Man dominion over the fish in the sea , and everything else on Earth . Although , I think man over did the killing of whales . It seems as man has suffered from greed right from the beginning .
