On the plains outside the contested village, the forces of Bretonnia and the Empire finally meet in open conflict. The thunder of hooves and the clash of steel reverberate across the battlefield as knights charge headlong into the ranks of the Empire, while artillery and magic unleash devastation from afar.
The outcome of the battle hangs in the balance as the two mighty armies collide with equal ferocity. For Bretonnia, it is a test of their legendary prowess in mounted combat and knightly virtue. For the Empire, it is a struggle to maintain the integrity of their realm against external threats.
Regardless of the victor, the conflict leaves scars upon the land and its people. Villages are razed, fields trampled, and lives lost in the name of honor and conquest. Yet, amidst the devastation, tales of heroism and valor emerge, as individuals on both sides distinguish themselves in the crucible of battle.

thanks for the report, enjoyable but a little brief. I personally prefer the longer reports with combats and rolls shown. if this is how you go forward ill still watch though.
People who like ’haning’ out with us for 2-3 hours makes us happy. We will do longer reports as well. Currenty we are looking in to having more streams to get those uncut/longer videos more often.

I enjoyed this report. Good to see empire vs bretonnia. I used to run a cav heavy empire army and I always enjoyed playing against bretonnia.
Although they are much stronger now than they used to be.
Have had to rethink.. cav is greate, I havnt chosen cave always but it sure is nice to have.. /André
I love the concise batreps. I kinda despise the super long ones i see almost everywhere else. I dont have 2 hours to spend watching a batrep.
The long ones shoulf be 2hours tops! But it sure is hard to get smooth
Nice battle report. The only word of advice is that you're too timid with steamtank. From my own experience he work better if you dont use him as a cannon, buit as a tank as his name say. Realy durable model that can hold way bigger units if they are not designed to deal with something this tought. He can lock entire section of battlefield by himself.
I have never played with the steamtank… but I do dislike it when it charges into my units and then just never die! /André
At 16:41 when you shoot with crossbowmen, you said they are in hard cover? Every model were in hard cover? Or some model could shoot without -2? I ask because I think I have not understood line of sight and cover rule:)

Well.. its some truth ofcourse. He wanted to play them at a tow tournament and the time he hade to paint made this theme the only option.

Seems like empire just don't have much luck, with all the poor dice rolls.. but curious as to how did the helblaster perform? I can't quite imagine your shooting to be so poor with an engineer. Were your dice rolls really that bad? 😅
I thought that was the perfect opportunity for your steam tank to charge the duke rather than shoot at it with the steam gun.
We take helvlaster question on a podcast. I like alot of terrain, I think most of us do.. it makes the movment phase even more important.

We do both and they will come. Mabey in two weeks… we have some tournaments to go to. And it makes it hard to fit the long br in editing time.

It is Jonas theme of his Bretonnia. They are a ghosts a old resurected GW army and therefore have the ethereal look.
