Hey, dude - thx for the Walking Tour video. Just moved to Little Rock, pretty much sight unseen. It was cool to see in-person the landmarks that you pointed out in your video.
Who remembers Andy's Burgers😃 They had one downtown on the corner of some building I don't remember which??? They also had one in NLR on 107 JFK Blvd. really good burgers!
There was another theatre on the 400 block of Main, called Center Theatre. Was torn down in 2008ish, along with the west side of the 400 block of main, which was once completely lined with buildings.
I wish downtown Little Rock was still as vibrant as it was back in the 50s / 60s. If you go to the Butler center, you can find books with pictures of Little Rock, before 26% of the downtown grid was torn down for surface parking lots.
Not sure really. River Market has been a great start to revitalize downtown but they need to have stuff beyond it. The city had a chance to be a contender but they ruined it when they destroyed West Ninth Street.
Quick Q, Gabe - when do Little Rock parks close officially? I was scooting in War Memorial Park around 830pm tonight and caught the police spotlight... I don't see any signs anywhere indicating whether scooters are allowed, let alone anything re: official park hours.

We certainly need a proper grocer downtown! Straition's Market is OK, but we need more, outside the River Market area.
I love LR ❤️

Build a tall landmark like a observation tower or big ferris wheel also build a downtown aquarium and more attractions
Anywhere but a Wal- Mart.trolly is cool goes right to Firewater liquor in NLR.
Yes it does.
Downtown can be vibrant if they stop building stuff out west
Yeah downtown use to be poppin back in the day but so much of the population moved to West LR.
@@drewb3665 I agree so if your was mayor what would be your master plan for the Future of Downtown Little Rock
