Wow, y'all did an amazing job with this video. You highlighted Little Rock very well. I loved the sunset tour on the river and the Pinnacle Mtn hike. I've climbed the boulder side. It is intense. As a lifetime Arkansan, I learned something new. I never knew how Maumelle got its name, that kinda comical. Y'all captured the beautiful fall colors of the leaves, too.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful city with us. I love Arkansas. While in the Air Force, my wife and I would travel through Arkansas via I-40 and stayed at Little Rock Air Force Base with friends. The best tasting catfish we ate came out of a Shell gas station on I-40. I even turned around 20 miles to buy whatever catfish was left. I ate well all the way to California.

I live in Benton. I have a similar story. I grew up in Arkansas, travelled all over and lived in 3 other states, but realized how much I missed home and moved back. One of the biggest perks is I couldn't afford my own place in other locales, but can here.
Gotta comment, my old stompin grounds. 1978-1998.From North Little Rock to Ferndale. Best times fishing the Lake for them Stripers. 3 children born there .Thank you for capturing the beauty. ❤

Great video guys! While we have not been to the Little Rock area yet, we absolutely fell in love with the Bentonville area. So much so, while we currently live on the east coast and plan to go full time RVing, we bought property in Bella Vista and intend to relocate there once we are done with our full time RV travels.

One thing we don't have much of in Minnesota, mountains. Amateur radio SOTA Summits on the Air recognizes Pinnacle Mountain, W5A/OA-016, 308m, 1 point. Climb to the top, make 4 contacts by radio, get points. Quite the climb!

Great channel! I had the same problem with my hummer and it was the starter. A lot of hummer’s have the same problem.
The top ridge of Rattlesnake ridge is also very cool and gets up to class 3 terrain in places.
My husband and I have lived in the central Arkansas area for 35 years and didn’t know there were boat tours. It looks like a lot of fun.

Having spent a good bit of time in central Arkansas, I can see why. I hope it can keep it's character and beauty and living up to the apt state motto "The Natural State". Also the fine folks state. (But like everywhere else, with rare exceptions - and even for them there's often some hope).

Upon your recommendation in a past video we visited Little Rock and ate at Local Lime. It was well worth getting off the interstate on our way to Tennessee. We will return there one day.

Because of y'all I have enjoyed several things in my born and raised state that I never knew about. Rattlesnake Ridge(awesome!) , Fourche La Fave river, Cinnamon and Cream bakery (omg the apple fritters) Eye of the Needle Trail which is still on my to do list along with Brood and Barley restaurant, and the William Kirsch Nature preserve . Thank y'all for this channel ! If you haven't done it yet I highly recommend climbing Forked Mountain in the Quachita Forest. 👍🏻

Do you have a source on the quarry being as tall as pinnacle? I saw on your last blog you mentioned that, and I would love to find more information. As I mentioned, I understood that quary on the East Summit Trail pinnacle was used to build the dam.

Well I guess every other state has their own brand of ice cream & Texas has…..blue bell! 😂 and our small town has a little craft coffee shop in the same space with their manly outdoor store “ballad of the bird dog” cool place & their coffee is good!!
We have Yarnells Ice Cream which is regional. Not as big as Blue Bell but its not a craft like Loblollys and Scoops.
I know people think I’m a full blow loser for living in mine. And I’m 62 . Don’t listen to them.

I lived on the North side of the river. Prefer North Little Rock/Sherwood. Living in Pulaski County is aweome. Even though I had to move back to Hot Springs over 10 years ago, I still miss certain things.

My mother and her siblings were from Helena Ark, my fraternal grandmother Forrest City, have aunts and uncles and cousins in Mountain Home. I'm from Memphis. Spent a lot of times growing up going to Herber springs canoeing and Hot springs. My aunt and uncle still live in Helena and live on a wild life refuge. They have people from all over come to see the Oreles they live a month in there back yard. I spent a month there. Catching and tagging animals milking snakes for antivenom. Riding the levees at sunset and exploring the Kilgore hills. It my second home state.

Fun random fact: tarantulas are not true spiders. The largest true spider is the huntsman spider. It is to my understanding that they don’t actually have a very painful bite at all, they overpower their prey with their physical strength. 😅🕷️

Still love hanging out with you guys! Which video editing program do you suggest I use for a startup CZcams channel? I used davinci 16 a few years ago but it was a steep learning curve and although I was getting the hang of it, I thought I should check to see if there are other suggestions before resuming.
