I lived in Louisiana at the time of Hurricane Katrina hitting and we left pretty quick prior to it landing. My mom gave us a day to get things together before we had to leave. I packed essentials but remembered grabbing Razorblade Romance and my Yellow Sony-DEJ360. I listened to that album front to back and two sets of batteries all the way to Northern Arkansas to stay with family. It must have been a 2-3 day trip. When I got older I used the CD to snort coke off of haha. Still have the CD after all these years, but I dont do coke anymore thankfully.

Valo fue también el batería de la banda Daniel Lioneye, la cual tiene al guitarrista de HIM, Mikko Lindström, como cantante. Es el inventor del Heartagram, distintivo de la banda. Actualmente trabaja en su nuevo proyecto VV. Utilizando el símbolo del Heartagram con un nuevo diseño, Valo decidió darle vida al proyecto Heartagram y el 19 de marzo del 2020 a través de la página "Heartagram", se anunció su nuevo proyecto llamado VV, (Ville Valo), con la publicación del nuevo EP titulado "Gothica Fennica Vol. 1.". I lived in Louisiana at the time of Hurricane Katrina hitting and we left pretty quick prior to it landing. My mom gave us a day to get things together before we had to leave. I packed essentials but remembered grabbing Razorblade Romance and my Yellow Sony-DEJ360. I listened to that album front to back and two sets of batteries all the way to Northern Arkansas to stay with family. It must have been a 2-3 day trip. When I got older I used the CD to snort coke off of haha. Still have the CD after all these years, but I dont do coke anymore thankfully.

My boyfriend and I have had a very tumultuous first year together. Abuse from both of our families, confessions, gritty fights, doubts, mental and physical exhaustion, lostness, existential depression. I don’t know why the most painful year of my life has been the most beautiful, but he makes me, a previously suicidal person, extremely afraid to die. I often wonder if it’s possible to rejoin after death. I love him beyond death. I never want to wake up in separation from him. I no longer want to think that every part of us dies when our bodies die. I hope I never return back to this song alone, but that’s always a possibility. I don’t know how to prepare myself for that.
