Remember listening to this song with my friends in school on a cd player when I was only about 9 or 10 years old. It’s crazy how this band is still with me now that I am 31 years old. I was obsessed with this band years ago when I was a teenager, I made my boyfriend at the time fall in love with them too and I also made him get the heartagram tattooed on his wrist! a few days ago I search them again on youtube for some reason, got nostalgic or something and found out they broke up 2 years ago but I honestly thought they did that way before 2017! cuz I hadn't listen to them for so long so I haven't even heard they stuff they wrote after 2007 or 8, around the time I stopped listening.

Neon Noir is the debut solo album by VV, Ville Valo the leader of HIM.
Neon Noir emerges from the same universe of desolation, pain and extravagance that Ville Valo inhabited when he led HIM, although new nuances are perceived in VV, as is the case with the aged aromas of a good Cabernet.
“We were just hoping to temporarily redirect the blood flow of hard rock from the nether regions to the heart,” recalls Ville Valo, the singer, songwriter and frontman of HIM. Judging by the Heartagram's monolithic presence in any description of music this side of the millennium, it's evident that it was very successful. Valo was always inspired by great artists and writers, from Edgar Allan Poe to Charles Bukowski, tinged with a penchant for Black Sabbath-esque scented melancholy. Ville Valo's creativity would go on to produce eight era-defining studio albums, over ten million album sales, seven platinum and eight gold awards, a Grammy nomination, countless magazine covers, critical acclaim and the veneration of an entire generation. Therefore, it was no surprise that the news of a farewell tour in 2017 was met with shock and disbelief by his fans and now like a Phoenix, Ville Valo rises from the ashes of HIM creating the kingdom of VV.

Remember listening to this song with my friends in school on a cd player when I was only about 9 or 10 years old. It’s crazy how this band is still with me now that I am 31 years old. Was one of those skater kids with HIM t shirts and Adio shoes. Bam trucks with heartagrams on ’em and Element boards. CKY, Jackass and Viva La Bam. Those early teenage years.

I can't believe they are not singing anymore for 2 years already. Really ????? I was obsessed with this band years ago when I was a teenager, I made my boyfriend at the time fall in love with them too and I also made him get the heartagram tattooed on his wrist! a few days ago I search them again on youtube for some reason, got nostalgic or something and found out they broke up 2 years ago but I honestly thought they did that way before 2017! cuz I hadn't listen to them for so long so I haven't even heard they stuff they wrote after 2007 or 8, around the time I stopped listening.
