Yes and yes! The chime holds up great outdoors unless it gets super windy. I am always bring mine inside when the wind starts blowing. The E6000 glue works great and holds up really well too.

What gauge fishing line did you use.i grabbed my husband's but it was rather thick and was very hard to work with.
Hi Nan! I didn't use fishing cord, I used a beading cord from Michaels. I have a link to it in the description of this video.
Wondering how long these will hold up if hung outside? Are they meant for outdoor use?
Strong wind is the biggest culprit, so it really depends. I had mine outside for about 2 years and then we had a massive wind storm and broke what it was hanging on. It was the fall the broke it.

does that glue hold up well from heat/sunlight? I made a seashell wreath once and the full sun on the front of the house melted the glue that I had used (glue gun)
Yes, E6000 glue holds up just fine in heat and direct sunlight. It will not melt.

That glue did not hold the glass for me at all! Easily peeled off , so disappointed, it looked so good! Im gonna have to try a different glue!
Oh no, I am so sorry that glue didn't work for you, it worked just fine for me. I wonder if it has to do with the climate. I live in a dry/dessert area, do you live in a humid area?
@@KatieAdams I do actually! Im right by the ocean (Nova Scotia, Canada) its been quite humid too the last few days, that could very well be why!
