Correction: 11:43 - The John Sutter and the Map to the Lost Gold Mine temple run also encountered all three guards. Thanks to jomar500 for pointing this out.
Correction: 22:53 - While there were only two temple run wins with the artifact at the center of the temple (the other one being Missy's Lucky Heart-Shaped Pillow run), it is critical to note that the Mussel Shell Armor run was indeed the ONLY TEAM win among all temple run wins with the artifact in the CENTRAL SHAFT of the temple. All the other wins were SOLO runs.

What's cool about Zack's performance is that he actually watched plenty of recordings of the show prior to his run so that he'd be prepared. It ended up paying off big time
I think the Levitating Leash should be a little higher. Under that kind of pressure, using the leash to hook the rope was a stroke of genius.
good point. indeed, he was the only one who was able to swing across upon grabbing their respective artifact
17:02 Man, the enthusiasm and excitement of Kirk and the two kids here is just so amazing. That’s the reason why this show is so amazing. Completing the Temple in dramatic fashion is right up there with some of the best sport’s highlights. Such an amazing show.
it was truly a memorable moment! one of the best kids' game shows of all time
I did my own list, and the results might surprise you. I take the following factors into consideration - how many pendants each team has (one pendant runs are sometimes weighted higher because the odds are shorter), the room the artifact is hidden in (so the Shrine will lose points automatically because you eliminate the hardest room of the Temple, no matter how good the run is), how much time is left on the clock, how easy or challenging the layout is, and the obscurity of the legend itself. For example, Lost Hornpipe of the Pirate Captain is pretty low on my list because so few people would recognize Joseph Wheeland and John Greenwood.
Anyway, here is my list. If you want me to explain my choices, I'll try to do so later.
32. Robin Hood and Marian's Silk Ladder
31. John Sutter and the Map to the Lost Gold Mine
30. The Jeweled Scabbard of Sforza
29. The Metal Beard of the Egyptian Queen

I swear them temple guards be like: "Grrah! booga booga boy/girl I'm a temple guard! whatchu doin in here huh? give up that pendant! what! whatchu mean you ain't got no pendant? c'mere you! get out my temple!!"
While I do disagree with the Nose Ring run not being top 10, love the support for the Lost Hornpipe run. Jessica was probably the best female runner in the shows history in my opinion. Also looks like the Kings Storeroom door was supposed to be open, but didn't due to a production error, which makes the win all the more impressive.
one of the major things that made me not include the nose ring run was joel's exit route. but it was generally a tough decision nevertheless to choose the top 10
also yes, jessica was impressive in the run. and then the slab leading to the storeroom was open but not the outer door... and the exit path made it the win that it was
Awesome list from one of the best shows ever made
It was very nice seeing four Green Monkey runs making the Top 10, and of those four, you included both episodes in which teams encountered all three Temple Guards and still won the Temple Run in the end. Plus, I had a feeling I knew which Silver Snake run would be #1 overall of the 32.
Now, I have to correct you on something.
The first episode to add to both Green Monkey wins from that outcome I mentioned above was actually John Sutter and the Map to the Lost Gold Mine (#21 on your ranks). This was the only time a team of Blue Barracudas won a run this way.
Lawrence of Arabia's Headdress was the second and final episode of Season 1 in which this outcome happens, and that was the first time it happened with a Green Monkey team before it happened again in the Mussel-Shell Armor of Apanuugpak in Season 3.
Basically put, the Mussel-Shell Armor is the third and final episode, and the only one of Season 3, in which that outcome happens like in the previous two episodes I mentioned above.
Since this outcome happened only three times, it never happened with a team having 1 1/2 Pendants and the second runner finding the other half to give to Temple Guard #3 and proceeding to win the Temple Run.
The reason Miriam backtracked and was hesitant to enter the Dark Forest was because she was actually afraid of the dark itself; that's why Zac made up for all that lost time and they won in the end.
Still, great job doing this!
thanks for pointing out the map to the lost gold mine episode also had all three guards! slipped my mind
@@yeabruh00I'm sorry, I said four Green Monkey runs, but you put five in your Top 10.
But everything I said before is true.
I knew the mask would be ranked last! It’s almost if the red jaguars are given the easiest paths to victory every time they bring the artifact out of the temple.
Great video.
I have to say the Heart-shaped pillow should rank a bit higher.
Think about it, only one pendant, so that means the odds of a failed run were much higher for the Blue Barracudas, and that's pressure on them.
Missy put on one of the best solo runs, and she looked like a badass doing it, and what really puts it over is this proves nothing is impossible.
Her partner got to shine in the tiebreaker, so both had their moment to shine.
Most would think a single pendant run would be impossible, but they proved otherwise.
Here’s how I rank the wins, including the three in the CW reboot:
1. The Heart-Shaped Pillow of Annie Taylor
2. The Mussel Shell Armor of Apanuugpak
3. Lawrence of Arabia’s Headdress
4. John Sutter and the Map to the Lost Gold Mine
5. The Lost Hornpipe of the Pirate Captain
6. The Golden Apple of Atalanta
7. The Lucky Medallion of Atocha
8. Gilgamesh and the Lycium of Immortality
9. The Amazing Talking Rooster of Lam-Ang
10. The Milk Bucket of Freydís
11. The Applewood Amulet of Emiliano Zapata
12. The Lion-Headed Bracelet of Chandragupta
13. The Metal Beard of the Egyptian Queen
14. The Jewel-Encrusted Egg of Catherine the Great
15. The Levitating Dog Leash of Nostradamus
16. Galileo’s Cannonball
17. The Star of Sultan Saladin
18. The Snakeskin Boots of Billy the Kid
19. The Much-Heralded Helmet of Sir Gawain
20. The Jeweled Scabbard of Sforza
21. The Secret Map of the Bandit Queen
22. The Enormous Iron Nose Ring of Babe the Ox
23. The Ruby Earring of Benzavov
24. The Ivory Hunting Horn of Roland
25. The Trojan Horseshoe
26. The Helmet of Genghis Khan
27. The Belly Button of Buddha

31. The Snake Bracelet of Cleopatra
32. The Very Tall Turban of Ahmad Baba
33. The Moccasins of Geronimo
34. Robin Hood and Maid Marian’s Silk Ladder
35. The Mask of Shaka Zulu
interesting list! there's a bunch of runs outside my top 10 that felt like they deserve to be in the top 10 but there's just so many good ones. haven't watched any of the reboot eps yet thought bc i don't have cw
[edit] i realized i can watch on cw for free
@@yeabruh00 You aren't missing much. I interviewed the producer of season 3. They really wanted the kids to win. It was just hard.
@@notundercovercop327 Season 3 was hard because there were no rooms just to move through or do something for a couple of seconds like the Swamp and Throne Room.
“Milk bucket…” should be at least #2. That was a true nail-bitter!
I feel like the kids are losing on purpose because they don't wanna go to space camp as a grand prize.
If I get a cruddy prize, I'll lose on purpose and just say, "Hey, I was on TV!" and be on my way lol
Funny how the fastest overall timed win is the lowest ranked (I'm fully aware of the production error lol).
I remember a run with a contestant that seemed like over age, he destroyed the temple, but I can’t seem to remember which one is
wasn't it jarrid from the lost hornpipe of the pirate captain? or maybe travis from the discarded seal of ivan the terrible
4:31 the first episode of season 2
TOP 10 BEST Temple Runs in Legends of the Hidden Temple:
10. Galileo's Cannonball
9. Jewel Encrusted Egg of Catherine the Great
8. The Heart Shaped Pillow of Annie Taylor
7. The Ruby Earring of Benzibab
6. The Secret Map of the Bandit Queen
5. The Milk Bucket of Freydis
4. The Silver Horseshoe of Butch Cassidy
3. The Much-Heralded Helmet of Sir Gawain
2. The Enormous Iron Nose Ring of Babe the Ox
1. The Mask of Shaka Zulu
all runs you listed, except the mask of shaka zulu, make a good case for being in the top 10
I subscribed
The Moccasins episode, there should've been a Temple Guard encounter in The Dungeon, but the Temple Guard missed his cue.
almost always, the guard has a difficult time opening the door in there. the camera even captures the moment at 9:10. on another note, season 1 has a weird thing with putting a temple guard a ROOM away from the artifact and idk why. i find it anticlimactic and cheap
@@yeabruh00 Possibly to catch if they have 1 and a half pendant, thus leading to a possible Triple Seizure.
That screen that tracked which room the kids went in was really impressive for 90’s TV. Or maybe my 9/10 year old brain was easily impressed.
i myself find it impressive, especially at the time--and they were doing it at the same time as the taping, not in post (i know this because you would see the occasional mess up in the path drawn)
I love how the red jaguars episode is the lowest ranked, mainly because the one teammate absolutely exploits the temple.
Ironically they actually hold the record for fastest run via the Ivory Hunting Horn episode.
not a fan of fast and easy runs, which is why it's my lowest ranked season 3 run win. i feel like the prod team made it too easy
@@yeabruh00 Purple Parrots on the other hand had one of the best runs, one second on the clock and they just barely make it, so satisfying to watch!
It was a production error and he took full advantage as he should have.
not putting the blame or downplaying the runner. i honestly think he would've done great progress even if they forced him to go upwards from the holes of python room. i just did not find it entertaining to watch
applewood amulet episode was way too low in the rankings...that was probably the closest victory per tenth of a second in the shows history
the ending was pretty dramatic, especially the angled shot as olivia emma jumps out just in time, i must admit. but given their relatively easy route, they could've done better
Jamel glares at Kirk like, " Really?"😒
he must've had nightmares with it since then 🥶
Next video the Top Temple Run Scared
Why did singer kathy ross appear in former nickelodeon shows get the picture and legends of the hidden temple ever since star search?
Why was Yaketta run the lowest non season 1 win?
i found yakerra's route a bit too easy, although i do understand that her taking the risk (and success) of finding the key in the forest despite having a good chance of a temple guard was notable
Miss you men
In this legends of the hidden temple episode john sutter and the map to the lost gold mine, why did this young girl Jennifer with the glasses slip and fall?
i believe it's because of the cables near olmec's "gate"
Can you please talk about the 48 songs in Hi 5
I'm not that familiar with the songs in hi5. might be someone else's specialty
Thought that just occurred to me, What are your favorite runs that didn't end in a win?
interesting question. im thinking of making a separate video listing my fave non-wins!! perhaps sometime soon
@@yeabruh00 Give me an exciting loss over a boring win, any day.
@notundercovercop327 truly! from the top of my mind, ive got runs like the golden earring of henry morgan and then the priceless portrait of the polynesian girl
@@yeabruh00 I like Broken Wing, Napoleon's Hat and Blue Pearl.
Mine was the comet-embroidered battle flag of William the Conqueror! When Jonathan was in the room of the ancient warriors, he tested the first armor and ran into the last guard.
That’s when that bottom door that led to the chamber of the sacred markers opened! I think because he was shook up from that temple guard, he didn’t notice the door was open.
He got the flag with three seconds left, but ran out of time. I think had he noticed that door to the camber was open sooner, he probably would’ve gotten out in time! 💚
I know this is about successful runs, but that one Silver Snakes run, where the guy just missed it by a split-second should have counted, since he was already there.
I know they were on a budget, but that feels kind of cheap, especially when the dude was literally at the line.
are you referring to the broken wing of icarus run? the green monkeys were in that run. jason set himself up there with his exit route and his slow pace unfortunately
