This only exists in the United States. Here in Germany you just stay quiet and enjoy the movie. Sometimes there's someone like me who constantly comments on all sorts of things that his family might not understand, but otherwise we usually keep our mouths shut.
When this happened in the movie Theatre I was in everybody started cheering and clapping and the teens in the back where just screaming their lungs out in a good way I loved that movie theatre so much. It was just full of fans of the game and it was amazing.

I can see why people that have never played the games or knew anything about the series would dislike this movie but this is such a great film and they did a fantastic job with it.
