I'm with you on this. I think people should wear what they want no matter where its from. Why should we not enjoy a watch we love because a few people who call the shots put the world into war. The rich profit off of wars, the rest of us would rather avoid wars and let things be. The only way you will ever see me at war is if my country is invaded.

Brave of you to make these videos. 👍
Cowardly of you to delete the last one. 👎
Sure, Vostok didn't start the war but if they don't speak out against it they're being cowardly too.
Myself, I'm against it. I think Russia is at fault, in the wrong and guilty.
Therefore I boycott Russia as a whole.
Not fair maybe, but that's ok, at least I have values and I stand behind my beliefs.
    🍻

Thanks! Removing the last one has nothing to do with covardness. I say the same thing here. I want one single video expressing my views on this topic, and the last one proved to be too much one-sided. I don't want to generate pointless arguments and I definitely don't want to make a video series about this.

No problem! I totally understand. War is no joke.

Isnt Vostok a Lithuanian brand? And Lithuania is in NATO and against the war. On their website it says they stopped working with Russian manufacturers in 2014 (the year Russia annexed Crimea).

It's Vostok Europe, they're different. Vostok is Russian.

I firmly believe that all Russian companies, including Vostok, should be boycotted for the time being. The Russian population, with some isolated exceptions, seems to be firmly behind Putin. Putin is a criminal presiding over a regime based on repression, lie and violence. Doing business with Russian companies helps that regime to go on. In the global scheme of things, promoting Vostok watches may seem insignificant, but in my opinion it is ethically very wrong. You say you are a Hungarian who’s aware of the 1956 events. Please rethink your position.

I understand you. Russia shouldn't have attacked. I'm against war and I still believe, that Vostok is not responsible for it. It's not a promotion, I'm simply showing my watch.

@@engineercave007 In this case people should not buy anything from Germany, Japan, China and USA etc. I own german watch which I love, but my country was under Nazi ocupation for 6 years and almost 500k died there.

Exactly. That said, the war in the Ukraine is actively going on just at our doorstep, so I understand the objections.
