  • Hello People!
The Kickass Bridge from Hipshot was supposed to be an exact drop in replacement for the Mexican Jazz Bass. Well it kind off is, but the intonation and string alignment were slightly off.
Thanks for joining me while I plug the holes for re-drilling and use the cut off wheel to shorten the intonation screw.
    Cheers,

Was getting nervous about setting the low E intonation on my Mustang PJ, now I know exactly what to do - thank you!

I like how hipshot sends shorter screws. But ONLY TWO. I need 4

Would be better to put an OEM stock fender mex bridge and modify the metal if needed.

Thought you didn’t need to move bridge?..

This design would work if they didn't have the tube extending from the back of the saddle. It makes it impossible to lengthen the E string enough for proper intonation. A Badass isn't made like that and you can set the intonation with no problem. This is a design flaw that should be fixed.
