I upgraded from an SS to a ZL1. And aside from the obvious horsepower bump it really is just an overall nicer car as far as trim level goes. i didn't think the alcantara seats would make that much of a difference but the first time I sat down in them on a real cold morning I was amazed.
In my opinion, its undoubtedly the best generation for styling, and performance. The car is a keeper.

After a long time of searching for a car for my 30th birthday, I sifted through many BMWs, some Mazdas, Audis, Pontiac GTOs and G8’s I am about to pull the trigger on an LT1 24 Camaro MN6
And my friend's mom drove us in one of these at 12:30 am in the rain on a winding 2 lane road...scary.
It’s between this and a 15 bmw m6. I can’t wrap my mind around the m6 because the engine is soo complicated

btw the zl1 comes with a short throw shiftier. It's optional on the SS and is a part of the 1LE package.
This makes a lot of sense... I was surprised how short the throws were on the stock setup

I am a fan of the domestic cars, but man they need to step up their interiors its where they always lack in my opinion

What pillar pod is that? 4:50 I agree with the design flaw but has more to do with hiding the oil pressure gauge behind the round fan speed knob! Really Chevy? I have to peek around the knob to see what my oil pressure is? Why didn't they put the battery gauge there at least? or how about smaller HVAC controls. The only thing I hate about my Z.
DD is an Evo X. Weekend car is a Trans am, and beach car is a Pontiac G8 (v6) yes they made a v6 with the car
Evo is on the list of cars I've never driven. Def need to get some seat time because I have a feeling I will enjoy it
Tedward After driving the Evo for awhile I call the Trans am my wild child. I love them both equally
The Evo doesn't have the mileage I'd expect it to. I'm sure it does well traction-wise with the AWD so it's a good daily just not good on gas
