I think we all have moments of doubt, particularly as (in my case at least) we are rapidly heading to the wrong end of life's journey. But I'm glad you were able to rediscover what boating really means to you and have decided to keep SB2. We all enjoy sharing the obvious pleasure you have in owning her. Carpe Diem and all that.

Another great episode Nick. Every now and again I go through "it's time to sell and get off the water", especially now with a 62% hike in my mooring fees in Bristol with nothing extra to show for it. Yet that one run,one chill afternoon just sat on the boat with the music and maybe even a book and you soon remember why we do it. Keep enjoying your escape as we all do.
Of course this is all worth it Son. Myself and many others see you as a friend we don't have but would love TO have. You're a decent man and I know none of us are perfect but we as viewers get a real kick out of you on the boat seeing you in the Captains hat. Steady as she goes Son ...G...

Nick although I don't really know you and vice a versa, I want to say that if you did sell your boat, it would be a sad day for us all. I cannot speak on behalf of other people, but I enjoy seeing you have fun especially with others close to you, and even if you just went out alone all the time, I believe you still add value to the boating world. Thank you for sharing a part of your life and thank you for the stunning boat tours you do.
I use to have a boat like yours for 20 years on the west coast of Canada and my wife and dog did the exact same thing, loved it. September was the best month as it got really quiet in all the bays and marinas we visited. Your videos bring back a lot of great boating memories, thanks Nick!
Lost my grandfather a few years ago, he was the one who not only got me into boating but also into Jimmy Buffet. I had been blessed to see Jimmy in concert a few times, and every now and then i turn on a few songs of his to bring back memories of those times with my grandfather. Jimmy will be missed, thank you for creating this video. It hit all the right spots for me :)

I will probably never be in a position to own a boat, if you can afford to have SB2 sitting there, then keep hold, the great thing is that you know she is there waiting for when the weather clears and you have a bit of time to get out and enjoy her.

As I watched that Nordhavn 56' Ms g by you in the river dart I thought how big does a boat have to be before the fun factor begins to diminish. You look like you are having fun in your boat still.

I watched this video at about 4am on a very hot September night. I woke up because I was too hot. I watched the majority of the video with my eyes closed listening to the music, with the water splashing in the background.
I feel calm, relaxed and ready to go back to sleep.
Could this be the start of a new format of video that would occasionally pop up on the Aquaholic channel?! I hope so!

Well Nick, I really enjoyed that trip out with you. You are such an inspiration. Love that you love your boat, the sea and nature. Unlike a lot of folks who post videos, you always let us appreciate the sights and sounds without any rush. Thank you for introducing me to the sounds of Jimmy Buffett. Sorry to hear of his passing. May he rest in peace. Me and my husband live in Torbay and dearly hope to own a motor cruiser one day in the not too distant future. I hope that we can meet up one of these days. In the meantime, stay happy and happy boating xx
I love jimmy buffets music, one of my fondest memories is listening to his music while drinking a cold beer at Fort Myers beach on holiday. The hurricane took the bar away last year and jimmy goes this year, but it will always be 5 o’clock somewhere even for us landsharks, 🍻here’s to swimming with bow legged woman🍻

Many boat owners sometimes have the idea that it is an expensive hobby and it is, if you compare the costs with the benefits. But that also applies to campers or caravans. If you have a wet summer season, like this year, it seems that you can't go out much. But when it is dry or sunny you enjoy it immensely. And a hobby can cost something, as long as you don't have to pay a living for it! We are currently having an Indian summer in the Netherlands, and I am thoroughly enjoying the boat and convertible!

Nick, great tribute and heartfelt. I grew up listening to Jimmy with my folks on many road trips. His music meant enough to my family we even had a musical duo preform a few of his songs at my Moms remembrance ceremony. RIP Jimmy
Jimmy is in Margaritaville Heaven singing his songs to all those that have passed B4 him. All those American Country Greats & many other wonderful entertainers of all genres raising a toast & singing along. 🙏🇨🇦👍

I am a very happy owner of a galeon 500 thanks to your review of one a while ago. Being out at sea is one of the most enjoyable things to do. To just motor out a few miles, switch off the engines and take in the peace and quiet is the best medicine in these stressful times. I was a parrotheads before there were parrotheads and spent many longggg weekends partying with Jimmy and the band back in the 70’s and 80’s in the keys and sailing around the caribbean with the guys! He was a true my fun loving life loving caring down to earth nice guy who loved entertaining people! He’d often be found sitting on a beach in the keys singing with his guitar or tied up to our sailboats and singing with us for days on end definitely partaking in those margaritas paradise burgers and coral reefer 😂🤣🦀🦜⛵️🏖️🪸🐠🤿🍔 Fins Up Bubba!

I’ve been hit with some negative health circumstances and while your boat tours are a peek into a dream I’ll most likely never realise, it’s your adventures aboard your own boat that are giving me a reason to keep positive and look ahead, through a very testing time in my life, to purchasing my own boat in the next couple of years.
