- In this video, find out if there is really a booze ban in Magaluf, Majorca (Mallorca) for 2024.
Following a Sky News article stating "The sale of alcohol will be totally banned between 9.30pm and 8am in areas of "excessive tourism" in Majorca and Ibiza, under a new decree passed by the government of Spain's Balearic Islands," find out if this is correct.

must admit if they restrict your all inclusive hotels to so many drinks its pointless! then Magaluf will lose holiday makers.
I can somewhat agree with you on that, one thing we did notice a lot last year was people stocking up on drink from supermarkets (even more so before the 9:30pm sales ban for shops) and drinking them on the balcony we saw one gentleman build a very impressive dark fruits can wall on his balcony! I would guess this is a way of getting around the 6 drink rule, and would be cheaper than the hotel bar.
The bulletin printed it to say the same disgusting from that paper ., it’s simply not true the way it portray it

They always say they're just trialling it in a few places, I'm referring to the limited drinks after you've paid for all inclusive but will roll it out right across the board.
They won’t - unless trouble hits the other resorts (it’s unlikely )
@MallorcaUnderTheSun if the Hotels keep getting the numbers while they're limiting drinks for the all inclusive then the other Hotels will look at this and implement it there, all at the cost of the British tourist.

Hi Alex, is it true that you have to prove you have €97 a day even if your on an AI holiday? I only plan on bringing about €300 cash in July
They rarely ever bother checking and if they do you just wave a bank card at them and say this is how you are funding your stay.

AI has never meant Free Bar or food on Tap. You'll never eat or drink the extra Holiday Cost.
House Wine & Cheap Local Lager
Any Mixer Cocktails Branded Drinks always a marked up surcharge. AI is more families with plethora of Kids so they can load them up on Fizz and Chicken Nuggets.
I don't think any discerning Traveller should go AI eat out every night go Lidl and use the room facilities too cook Breakfsst. All the best if you're away this year.

Blackbeards or Ibizza for me (Both a little more expensive but worth it) for cheaper eats i like Robinson Crusoes / The Duke Beach.
They will go under... simples... then fast forward few years.. be all you can dtink for pennies. This world 🙄🙄

I really hope people boycott this place altogether to teach them a lesson. There are plenty of nicer and cheaper places to go, where there are no restrictions.
