  • This is Harare, Zimbabwe. Africa you don't See on TV.Harare is the capital of Zimbabwe. it has a population of about 1.7 million people. It was formerly called Salisbury until 1982. It is also the most populous city in Zimbabwe.
We have all heard a lot of things about Zimbabwe. Surprisingly, a lot of people still ask me if Zimbabweans go to buy bread with money full on wheelbarrows. Well today I shall be showing you what Zimbabwe CBD really looks like. Let's see if we shall spot money on wheelbarrows.
One thing you should have noticed by now is that there's no motorbikes here. Apparently motorbikes or bodaboda or okada are not allowed as a means of public transport. I think this is really nice and reduces chaos in the city.

Corruption has been a scurge in Zimbabwe. However pre-covid Zimbabwe was not this clean,it has pot holes, dirt roads and vendors all over the Capital. But Covid forced the Regime to clean up the City, remove vendors and improve sanitation, clean up the roads and things look better. So Zimbabwe must thank Covid for forcing them to clean up the Country, now its much cleaner than it was in 2016.

Thanks to our african brothers and sisters who explore our continent and show us reality.

Great job for changing narrative about Zim. Harare, Nairobi, Abidjan and Dakar are the most ''western like" cities in sub Saharan Africa outside SA I have visited. Largely because they were all settler colony cities unlike the more organic cities that developed from markets like Lagos- which have an African footprint I love. Please play Oliver Mtukudzi as your soundtracks in addition to what you have.
