A beautiful, hauntingly sad song in honour of one of Italy's greatest operatic tenors. Very apt,as Caruso was not a particularly happy person, with many problems in his life, Wonderful rendition by Maestro Bocelli.

I feel sorry for those who disliked, failed to appreciate this, or even for those who simply didn’t have had the chance to listen this in their life.
I did not disliked but I can't claim to like it although I like Andrea. Unfortunately, in this case, Andrea doesn't sound convincing. I really like the song itself, I know it from the very beginning. (Lucio RIP 😪).
If we look at the ratio it is 29 "like" : 1 "dislike" (recalculated). The numbers speak for themselves. So unfortunately there isn’t any over-enthusiasm about this performance. 🤷♀️
And you can’t easily underestimate the opinion of such a proportion of listeners who have just expressed their (in my opinion) honest opinion with the phrase “failed to appreciate this”.

I discovered that I actually like opera when I discovered Andrea Bocelli. He's the best singer in the world and any song gets better when he sing it. I love all his music. I'm still blown away by his album "Cieli di Toscana" from 2001. I love sitting out a warm summer night with good view, listening to Bocelli for hours and zipping my napoleon brandy (or cognac).

Not really a fan of opera or having any knowledge of this genre of music, this particular number truly hit my soul, and that too not understanding a word of Italian ... I also tried looking for Pavarotti's version of Caruzo. Yet to find a better version on CZcams ... but am also in love with Pav's Nessum Dorma...

No one sings Caruso like Andrea Bocelli. I've listened to at least ten different versions and his is definitively the best one. Honorific mentions to Alessandro Safina, Lara Fabian and Il Divo. Next would be Mario Frangoulis.
