Good on Geelong HD for looking after their staff. I used to be a mechanic in a big dealer, and when I first started there, the boss would give us Friday arvo beers, and sometimes help us out with petrol (and that was back when it was $0.54/L for Premium 98). New boss came in, turned it into a corporate mess with targets and budgets. Which is good for business, but every staff member got fired in the end because of their relaxed approach and their time they spent with customers. It was all "BUSINESS" and time was money. If you took more than 5 minutes with a customer, you were wasting time. The random BBQ's stopped. The boss shouting us ice blocks on hot days from across the road stopped. The Friday arvo beers stopped. It's bloody good to see a bike shop still looking after their staff the good old fashioned way.

Nice intro talking about the rain, and not quitting. I like riding in the rain, especially if it's a warm rain. very pleasant. If you ride long enough, the problem will work itself out, OR your perspective will change for the positive.

Like the screen mount. If you hit something and go flying forward, the screen will pivot down rather than shattering and slicing your legs up. (yes I know its lexan and not glass or perspex, but hit something hard enough it will break after deforming past its limits.)
Finally bought my first harley (forty eight no less) last weekend, I'm still about 6 months shy of sitting my full license but that never stopped anyone. I'm obsessed with your bars gonna be a long road of modding ahead I reckon. If you ever come over to nz again I hope I get the chance to follow along for some of the trip :)
