OMGAWD! This brings back so many fond memories. I remember about 90% of the commercials. Loved that channel. I think either Dr. Shock and/or Creature Double Feature was on 48...
The promo for the Assasination Bureau movie was announced by Jim Nettleton. The Arrow plumbing spot was voiced by Sid Dougherty. The guy doing the Wall to Wall Sound spot has a familiar voice, but I can't quite place it.
I am in the men’s bathroom sitting on the toilet right now, but there is nothing coming out of here because I’m in here watching all of these vintage commercials from WKBS48 which hair all of these commercials from 1982 when I was doing a little boy because these things bring back lots of memories, including something call Arrow plumbing services when they were then around because the year is 2013 and I don’t think none of these businesses are no longer around.
Arrow! Wow! That is a precious find! BTW, do you have any Vic Snyder Plumbing, Big Marty Carpets, and Ideal Manufacturing Company commercials? Those ads were quite popular on the independent Philly channels (48, 17, 29).
Would you happen to have WKBS’s final sign-off? It was in the early morning hours of August 30, 1983, after a Penn State-Nebraska football game on August 29. The audio is known to survive, but the video is sadly lost.
@TheKOOKSTER'SVAULT I would like to know if I can request commercials, T.V. Promos as well as T.V. Shows. Can you please send me a notification via CZcams?
This material is from 1983- not 1982- and comes from my personal collection of WKBS footage that was disseminated on the web without my knowledge or consent. Hopefully, the day will come when footage like this can be shared with proper credit given; anything else is just piracy.

Dr. Shock was on WPHL 17.
WKBS 48 had Creature Double Feature and later Son Of Svengoolie.
Love it! I remember this station fondly. Thanks!
glad you enjoyed it!
The ending announcer for The Bradford Exchange was Dan Foley while the ending announcer of Garden State Brickface was Jack Reynolds.

I don't think so.
Does anyone have a copy of the full final sign off instead of the fake reconstructions?
The search continues...
Was that WPHL 17's Sid Doherty doing that commercial for Arrow's?
Yes indeed it was him.
Didn't he also do voiceovers for Philly 57?
@@dgwaters Kim Martin was the announcer for Philly 57.
