this is still and probably will forever be my favorite song in the world. It is so soothing to me. 😌
I first heard this song when I graduated from college in 2015 and I got my first teaching job. When I went on my lunch break I would play this song and go for a walk during my hour lunch break. I stayed in shape, and my mental health improved. I this song!

That beautiful baritone voice - adds character to any melody. The little trills and flares in his singing, he sings like he plays trumpet. Can't wait to listen to the new album, horns or no horns.

Can people just stop complaining about how Zach had abandoned his old style? Try to have an open mind and appreciate the simple elegance of this song. I personally love it. Also, please don't judge the whole album based on only two singles, it's just not fair.

No No No is such a great album, 2015 is becoming the best year for albums i've been looking forward to for years.
I'm just thinking that if Zach did a Take Away Show singing Gibraltar on the streets of Paris again, jeezus, that would be glorious. It'll just be like Nantes.

Not the biggest fan of this album, but there's something refreshing about this song. It feels like a nice breath of fresh air after such a long hiatus. Best choice for the album opener IMO.

I hope some of the other songs on the album can capture their old balkan folk sound, I'm liking what I'm hearing off this new album but i cant help but feel that they are playing it a bit too safe with these new songs. The new stuff is great when compared to other bands but still not at the old Beirut standard :)
I'm agree with you, Beirut it's my favorite band but the sound they had before was really particular now they sound good but that's it

As much as I love their old style, I think it was time for something a bit different from Beirut. But not something so radically different where you can't link both styles together. Zac is currently writing about a happier time in is his life and it's definitely being reflected in these two songs. "No no no" having some pretty deep lyrics for such a a simple song. A lot of their old stuff sounded so similar it was hard to differentiate one song from the next.
Keep in mind the two songs you've heard so far are meant as attention grabbing songs so people are enticed to listen to the rest of the album. I'm sure the real treasures have still yet to be heard
I like every direction they go in. I'm pretty sure Zach could start a metal band and I would swoon LOL! Actually I would be so curious to hear that hahaha
