- today marks my 10th shift with this driver agency, hopefully this vlog provides a small insight into the different type of work an agency may give you, as well as what day to day life is like for a driver. I give my personal opinions on what its like tips and hints ect.
PLEASE NOTE BY NO MEANS AM I RIGHT OR WRONG THIS IS JUST MY OPINION AND HOW I LIKE TO DO THINGS MY VERY OWN WAY.
Hello mate. Usual no-nonsense vlog. Very interesting and informative as always. 👍. Just finished day 2 of Cat 2 training. Got the reverse/parking bay test tomorrow, then hopefully the road test on Thursday. So say a 🙏 for me!
Good luck mate! Fingers crossed for you!
Best of luck ❤️

Haha just turn your head loads in the cab 😂good luck and let me know if you pass 👌🏻👊🏾
I had my class 1 test last week. Good luck. Just take your time, listen to the examiner, check your mirrors loads. They want you to pass, so just drive safely. They just want ti make sure you are a SAFE driver. Best of luck!!
@@TRUCKERKEV totally agree, make it abvious you are checking your mirrors, i made an effort to empahasise it.
Loving these vids. Passed my Class one last week!! Just need to do my CPC module 4, booked for end of June! So excited to get out driving.
Thanks mate …Message me on Instagram buddy I have a few training aids 🤫 for mod 4 😂
@@TRUCKERKEV thanks dude, will do!!
i'm really enjoying your vlogs since youve began LGV driving. I'm hoping to do the same by August but struggling due to availability of a test. Certainly find your agency point around type of work for experience is a valid one.
Appreciate the support buddy 👊🏾
Yer covid still has some impact on the availability for testing I hear … and yes mate find out what you like don’t like get some experience make thoes mistakes that are naturally going to occur then go for a good job and get contracted hrs for a good rate 👍🏾.
Thank you - really good vlogs 👍👍
Hello mate, what advise would you give on accrued and advance pay, I just finished my 22 year in the army and I’ve got no clue what to choose 🤦🏽♂️
Can you cover dashboard checks low adblue fills if low please regards tony
Just passed my CE, busy applying for roles. Its using the tacho and reversing that worrys me.
Congrats !!!! I put up a tacho video not long ago, really showing you how to use it ect also putting together a drivers hrs video giving an insight into how to take brakes and abide by WTD ect that will help you loads mate and tbh it comes with time and experience… we all had to start somewhere 👌🏻
@@TRUCKERKEV Thank you, I will check out the video. Its certainly great seeing all the videos.
Just passed my class 2 where’s the best place to start north west
@@dukecrosswaite6236 that’s amazing news !!! Everyone is different in that respect and depends what you want but I would suggest at looking at my new video where I show people how to find jobs suited to them
hi mate I am a new class 1 had my licence about 4 months. the agency pay me really good money but do I stay or do I get a proper job? I am goin for a mortgage the end of the year I don't think I would get one being with a agency? any advice guys.
I'm not too sure regarding mortgages.... however 4 months class 1 experience might be good enough to squeeze you into some decent jobs, a lot of them ask for 2yrs but there are some that will take you on for sure. its a tough one for sure buddy hopefully you get what you want out of it in months to come !!!
Hey bud, I'm staring my HGV appretaship on the 6th of june, 3 months in a luton then I head up to Marshbarton to do my class 2&1
That’s brilliant mate 👌🏻 get those quals and experience …. Then move on to a better job 👌🏻👊🏾
Having done so many RDC type drops the lesson is always, ask. Upon entry at gates, at transport office in yard and yardies such as Shunters have always been so very, very helpful.....mind you, some of the drivers ....wow, they're blame everyone at RDCs for all their woes....you know, the type who really hate who they see in every mirror! Always, with B&Q RDC the best, facilities although DHL drivers canteen beats all for low cost high quality scran.
You cant be on a break whilst tipping, that's tipping off the card
