Fuses don't go bad unless there is a dead short or amps being pulled are roughly 20% over the fuse rating. So what caused the fuse to blow? It's probably a sign of a bad wire or the starter is hard starting and this will happen again eventually. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

So I had the same issue .. actually I have the same issue and I had a new 7.5 fuse but I don’t think it’s the same as the one in my Hyundai where did you buy yours ? I changed my starter nothing and tried doing changing the fuse and nothing
I had the same problem and I checked everything you said to check and it all turned out good. What I did was hit the gear shift release and put it in nutrual and it started right up. I don't know what the cause of the problem but it starts now.

My problem was this exact same issue. Car wouldn't start but could faintly hear the starter trying to turn. Went to Auto Zone and got the 7.5 fuse that was in this video and replaced it. But now what I need to know is what caused the fuse to go out in the first place? I'll still be taking it to the mechanic to see what they say.

What if i change the fuse & it still wont start? Ive had the battery, alternator, & starter checked & all are good. So what can the problem be?
Fule pump maybe you would have to remove the back seats though to replace it.
My elantra cranks, and it sounds like the battery needs a jump. The voltage reads 12.2v, any suggestions?

Open the fuse panel and like he said number 1 in the panel. Take it out and you will see

My 2013 Elantra doesn't start occasionally. It will click once, but not start. Everytime this happened it started on the second try and started strongly. The lights and radio work fine when the car does not start. This morning it won't start. It clicks once when I turn the key and that's it. Lights and radio are in fine. Starter?
@John Smith my situation is sort of similar but mine is... It just doesn't crank all the way over intermittently and sometimes it starts right up with no issue at all and then other times it makes this sound and for whatever reason when I pump the gas it eventually turns over and starts up for me but sometimes I pull it back and then try it again and it fires right up with no issue at all like as if there was never a problem!
All of my 2016 Hyundai Elantra brake lights don't work. Mechanic says it's the brake light module. Wants $250 to fix. Am I getting screwed? I've Googled brake light module and nothing comes up.

Took it to my bro in laws mechanic. It was a fuse. The fuse kept popping when he moved the car. Had to bring it back so he could have more time to find the short. Funny story. He calls me and says can't find the short. But fuse isn't popping. Been 3 weeks and still working.
