This was SUPREMELY helpful! My fisher cutter feels *better* than new 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Absolutely BRILLIANT. I thought that I was going to have to buy a new paper trimmer. Now it's working again like magic!
Well, I did this today and my paper trimmer works better than when it was new. I was so frustrated by the poor job my trimmer was doing, but now it is great! Thank you Frenchie!
This make me happy :)
Frenchie, I was getting ready to toss my old Stampin up Trimmer, when I came across this video. My old trimmer now cuts and glides like the new Trimmer!! It really does work! Thank you
So glad that you rescue your trimmer :)
Thank you Frenchie. By chance this afternoon I had problems with the paper trimmer. It went a long way and the cutter continued to hang. And see, you already give the answer.
Thank you so much for these tips that work like a charm for my trimmer and scoreboard. Also used the WD40 to clean up my Cuttlebug and it took the black gunk off the handle.
Very, very helpful France, thanks so much for teaching us how to do this. By the way, I love listening to you speak. You sound so much like how I remember my grandmother!
Thank you hun for the video! I have this paper cutter and with what I payed for it I want to make sure I keep it working well!! I got it for Christmas and just had to finally switch out my blade a few months ago! This has been the best paper trimmer I have ever used!! I just love it!!! I asked my husband to get me a can of the WD 40 for my craft room to keep on hand! Have a wonderful and blessed day :)
this is exactly what I have been looking for!!! when I have told 2 SU consultants and many friends with thiscutter that I was having issues they looked at me like I was nuts. I am off to try this right now!
Thank you so much! I hadn't used my trimmer long enough to order/replace the cutting blade. My paper was looking very rough after using the trimmer. I was about to order a new blade - but found your CZcams. I cleaned mine with lemon oil and was so HAPPY with the outcome. I can't thank you enough - I'm very appreciative of the video.
Oh wow...thank you so much for that wonderful tip...I was having such a hard time using my cutter...the blade kept getting stuck as I was cutting...now after a good cleaning with WD 40 it moves along the track like a charm...Ann in Canada
This is just what I need. Thank you for posting this. I have been complaining about my trimmer blade sticking, for months and my demo said she'll look at it for me. I can't wait to try these tips and pass the info in to her! X😙
I have just given my trimmer a tune up and it is now working a treat! Thanks again for making this video! 😘xxx
Thank you for all that great information. I have had so many trimmer problems and now I know why!
What a great idea was ready to through my cutter in the bin.
Now it works like new. Off to share with my friend. Thank You
Hello, thank you for this video! I was having terrible time with my trimmer. I even bought another one in case I couldn’t get my current one fixed! Saw this video, bought a can of WD40, took trimmer apart & cleaned it. It now works clean as a whistle! 👍😁 I love all your videos! Thanks for your time and sharing your skill! GBU!😊
Thank you so much for this awesome tip, I have 3 trimmers here and they are all giving me problems, so was thinking of buying another, now I probably have enough to last me a lifetime using this method! Thank you so very much! :) xxx
France- a great tip to keep the paper trimmers going smooth! Thank you so much for the tips always. I don't have a Stampin up trimmer, but I bet your tips would work well with all trimmers. Thank you so much !
Thank you, Frenchie! I was having a lot of frazzling problems with my trimmer even after changing the mat and blade, so I am excited to try this!
I always watch you when I need a pick-me-up! Thanks for the "Tune Up." I would never thought of doing it with WD40.
Thank you so much for all the tips of cleaning the cutting tool.
Frenchie, thankyou so much for your video on tuning up the trimmer! I did not realize this and have thrown away a lot of blades. I am happy to know another use for WD 40 too. Love your videos. You are very pleasant to watch and learn from. Thanks again for sharing.
Thank you so much for this tip! I always enjoy your videos and appreciate you taking the time to show us ways to extend the life of our tools!! 😊
Hi Frenchie, thank you for sharing. I don't have a stampin up paper trimmer but I have a Fiskers and I will try it out and see how it works on that one, hopefully it is as durable as the stampin up trimmer, again TFS. I love watching your videos you are very inspiring with the crafts that you make. I hope your 4th was a lovely one. God Bless you and your family.
Thank you Frenchie. Now I have to clean my quilotine cutter.
Awesome
oh my, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge , I especially am really pleased to know about getting the black marks off my floors, I've been struggling for years with removing them. Bless you. I watch all of your videos and have learned a lot, so thank you for that too.

Thank you Frenchie! I subscribed to your channel and your blog. Thumbs UP!
OMGoodness. . This was so helpful. I have been having trouble with my cutter and I'm sure this will solve the issues. Thanks so much.
Great tips. I also "tune up" my self healing mat as it gets adhesive and glues on it. Love WD40. I, too, was raised on it. Takes off retail stickers wonderfully.
Thanks Frenchie. Sometimes I clean my scoring and cutting blades on the sides with the tooth brush as well. They get build up too. I like the WD 40 truck. I'll have to give it a try.
Thank you, Frenchie.....
Great information. I think my cutter could use a good cleaning. Thank you so much for another wonderful video.
Great tips! I would have never thought of using WD40 on my cutter!
Great tips. I had no clue how to clean the glues off. I've been using goo gone. Thank you

Great tips! I'm going to give mine a tune up! Thanks.
I thank you Frenchie! I bought new blades and still have the problem, maybe now I won't. I'm going to try that and let you know what happens. Thank you so much.

Didn't know you can clean the cutter. I just ordered new blade and and track. Waiting on shipping. Thanks for the cleaning tips. I need them.
Where ya from Frenchie? Sounds like ya got a Canadian Accent there aye’? No wonder you’re so helpful and friendly if you are! Cheers from Alaska
You got that right I was borne and raised in New Brunswick Canada now I been in the states for 30 years and that French accent is deep in my blood

thanks for this - I am going right home to tune-up my cutter
I never thought of using WD-40. Thank you for this great information
Hiya Frenchie, thank you for this tip,I need to get me some WD40,or see if the other half has any in the boot of the car lol I am finding my trimmer is cutting with an almost frilly edge,I changed the blade but it is still doing it.also I find often it is not cutting straight,so I think it needs a good tune up.Thanks for sharing.
Wow, thank you, never thought to do this!
Great tip, tfs.
being in the dental business, I have found that they do not sell the really stiff/firm toothbrushes any longer. If you use the toothbrush without pushing too hard (flattens out the bristols) it should work well. I have old toothbrushes all around the house. thanks for this tutorial.
Thanks that is a very useful tip Thanks again.
Thank you!
Thank you , I use Pledge furniture polish on mine
Thank you thank you thank you..
AMAZING TIP THANK YOU SO MUCH

I seen the ruler on your peek a boo card a couple a day ago
Thanks!
Don't substitute Goof Off or Goo Gone for the WD-40. The leave a haze on the surface.
I agree with YOU
Thanks so much for this. Jacqui B uk
Thank you :)
SHARPENING BLADES: i sharpen my cutting blades on a pumice stone or heavy sandpaper.
Merci! :)
Thank you
