Believe me pharmaceutical companies rule the world, painkillers are here to stay especially paracetamol which is mild, plus these companies rely on addiction. Poor Nanny Di she can’t have any secrets 😂❤️

For those with absolute chronic constant pain (I speak for myself who has Crohn’s Disease), long term strong pain relief is essential. I attend a Pain Clinic where my meds are carefully controlled and monitored. I couldn’t manage without my patches-honestly. Remember pain has various levels and I can only imagine Nanny Di’s is extremely personal.
I agree. People who don't know what it's like to endure considerable pain on a daily basis have no idea what life is like for us. Yes, it isn't good to take pain meds everyday. We are well aware of that. But it's crucial if we are to have any quality of life. Most of us aren't expecting to be pain free, we just want our pain levels low enough to get by. Anyone preaching and virtue signally about how bad it is to take paracetamol/ibuprofen/codeine/tramadol etc just need to thank God they don't experience constant pain and stop making us feel like druggies.
@@alixchapel974 So well said, we're sometimes made to feel the same as the people addicted to Heroin! Most of us that have to rely on pain relief to get through the day, would much rather not be in that situation 😔 Then there's coming off them, that's a whole new ball game! I've been on Morphine for 12+ yrs and now having to reduce. Its a complete nightmare on top of the pain 😳
@twizz87 sorry to hear that. are you having to reduce while still having the pain? What are you taking instead? It really winds me up. No one says to people with other health conditions that the meds they are taking are bad for them and they need to stop taking them so why are pain killers any different. The people who shouldn't be on them are the people who are taking them for emotional pain or recreation. Of course THEY should stop taking them. Alcohol isn't good for you but it's sold everywhere even though it's highly addictive, hugely abused and causes chronic disease. I don't drink alcohol but I don't virtue signal people who do because it's their choice. Opioid painkillers allow us a better quality of life and we take them for medical reasons. Alcohol is recreational.
@@alixchapel974 I couldn't agree more. You would think that in 2020 there would be a better understanding of our predicament, but obviously not! 😡😔 Yes I have the pain whilst reducing. I will always have the pain, my spine is irreversibly damaged. On top of that is the hyperalgesia... Fun!! 🙈 I'm on Baclofen and Pregabalin but GP wants to wait till I'm off the Morphine to replace it.

I've been trying to give up pain killers for migraine, arthritis and more. You can't function normally with pain. People who don't suffer, don't understand just like people don't understand depression and anxiety
You are so right 😔 I'm coming off Morphine which I've been on for 12+ yrs... Its so hard because it increases the pain level which was bad enough to begin with!

I had my nose and belly button pierced at 13 and by the time i was 16 i also had my septum, labret, medusa and tongue done. I took them all out by the time i was 19 so don't worry Nadia :) a lot of teenagers go through phases of having piercings and you can always take them out xx

I totally understand how you feel about your girls growing up. Mine is about to go onto her 4th year at uni and I wish I could go back to her being a little girl. So proud of her though.

I had my nose and all my tattoos when I was 13 🙈 I had my septum done at 26 absolutely love it, when my children ask me for piecing and tattoos ill let them only live once. ❤️

Gosh the Tate looked empty! I was there in February just before coronavirus hit and it was heaving!! Lovely to see it again though, brings back happy memories of a lovely day spent there with my daughter 😊

Bless Nadia when I was a teenager I had my ears pieced 4 times each side then 1 right at top of ear my parents went mental . Now a mother my self I wear 2 earrings in each ear still wear very top now & again . Ad another top ear piercing when I got divorced plus ad belly button done about 17 years ago . My oldest daughter wanted her ears pierced at primary school & young daughter had hers pierced beginning of this year she never wanted them doing till then so I let them decide when they wanted them doing didn’t push them 😊😊😊xx

OMG things are bad in London, I’m up north and we’ve been making the most of 50% off, Wagamama, Nando’s, Pizza Express etc and independent veggie/vegan places, I’ve put on half a stone 🤣 I’m loving it, our high streets are as busy as usual

Both my girls had their noses pierced, I hated it. Luckily for me their noses rejected them and the skin became swollen. They had to have them removed. Thank god. Tgey never tried again. I think it is one of those things they have to get out of their system. I know exactly how Nadia felt❤
Nadia, MY daughter got the septum and surprised me. I was not at ALL happy. She’s 21 but still lives at home. I really struggled with it. She has such a beautiful finely-built face and that thing is all I could see when I looked at her 😣

You name it .... it’s a phase that’s all. My daughter was 15 ish when she had several piercings but now has none ... it a need to express themselves, they heal over when they are done expressing lol x

London is a ghost town. I live in Winchester near Southampton and every restaurant is open. All the chains like pizza express are. Went to London it's like a different world.

My little sister had her nose pierced at the same age and I felt the same! The phase passes and she took it out in her late twenties - so hold tight it might not be forever 😉
I had mine done when I was about 21, still have it now at nearly 46! X
Tracy S I got used to my sisters and quite missed it when she took it out. Everyone is different and I think it’s right we should express ourselves however we wish to.

Mark every day has been Tuesday for the last 4 months!
I was 14 when I got my first ear piercings, it was hairdressers and I was turned away from the mirror, I didn't know what was going on, there was no pain. When I got in the car to go home my dad freaked as there was a little bit of blood running down my ears, so when we got home he made me a sugary cup of tea for shock ( I wasn't the one in shock) and made me drink it. I was 18 when I got me second ear piercings and it was a gun so much quicker. Maddie and Kiki's piercings are so cute on them they are such cool girls. Nanny Di's hair is amazing and poor wee Toffee looked so sad hiding next to the cupboard. Nice to see Chi Chi back.

I have Fibromyalgia and I take Gabapentin and Tramadol (Which is all closely monitored)but I was addictive to Anadin Extra for yrs for bad headaches untill I had stomach ulcers and now I dont take it any more....

I asked my daughter what she thought 💭 bout young people getting there ears pierced she said at the end of the day it’s there bodies 2 make the choices & the mistakes guess she’s right I never forced my two daughters 1 had there’s done at 9 year old the other had hers done at beginning of this year before lock down she’s now turned 19 but never wanted them doing any sooner guess they know when the times right then 🤗🤗💕💕xx

Paracetamol is a go to for doctors to prescribe & it’s highly addictive. I’m glad I can finally have acupuncture again. Though alternative therapies can be expensive & for a long time I had to rely on paracetamol when I knew it wasn’t affective.

Penny Leggate a lot less painful that an injection or blood test as it just goes into the very first layer of skin. Then it’s a case of laying & relaxing for about an hour X

I had my nose pierced at 15 and I'm now 40 and still have mine lol. My daughter had hers pierced at 16 but she's 18 and healed now. My daughter has social anxiety and I worry about her not wanting to do things with her friends. Or when she does she worries and then I worry. She wants to go away with her friends for weekend and would have to travel on train on her own. Shes never been on one xx tattoos next lol.

Loved the vlog aww so nice to see Chi chi back home. So sweet both of there piercings look really nice. Can't believe it was 20pound ear that's lot. In Wigan it's only 20pound for both ears so if get 2 lots it's only be 40 and for nose and lot of other piercings it's 20 aswel.
