- Have you seen the CNC-P6 tattoo machine?
In this video we will be diving in and reviewing the new CNC-P6 tattoo machine.
The P6 is great for all types of work as we can change the stroke on the fly from 3 mm all the way up too 4mm. This makes the P6 a workhorse tattoo machine because we can get that hard hit if we need it or we can get that soft hit if we need it. Not to mention the hits can be adjusted on the fly.
The P6 is great for larger scale tattoos as well as small micro tattoos. We can shade, stipple, line, pack black and color all with the P6. The P6 is also easy to maintain and upon using I did not notice any heat coming from the machine, nor did it get warm for the entire session.
I ran the P6 tattoo machine with InkClaws C-Charge Wireless Power Supply via RCA input and the P6 ran smoothly for the session as well with no hick ups. You can see at about 9:30 seconds into the video I demonstrate the adjustable stroke for you all on the fly so we can see it working real time and take a first hand look at exactly what is going on.
I do personally like the P6 because of it is powerful, it's ease of use and adjustable stroke on the fly. I also love the CNC German motor as it gives us the ability to perform large scale tattoos or small scale tattoos. 1 main feature that makes the P6 great for any tattoo artist that does any style is that we can do pretty much any style of tattoo with the P6 by simply adjusting the stroke to get our desired effects.
All in all I give the P6 a Thumbs Up and a 4 stars and here is why. I gave it 4 stars because me personally I love simplicity over complex. The machine is a bit more on the complex side as it offers us the ability to change the stroke on the fly. For some it would be a 5 star machine but for me I will stick to my guns and give it a solid 4 stars because I prefer simple. That is NOT to say that the P6 is hard to sterilize and or maintain because it would not be as the grip is autoclave-able, and we can take Opticide wipes to the rest of the body.
I recommend checking out and investing into the P6 when it is released by CNC. I will link you to the P6 Tattoo Machine below.

Great video as always! I’m never buying an expensive rotary again.
Ima convert to these rotary pens😊 love your videos man.
Nice machine. Thanks for the break down! Because of your thorough videos, I purchased the P5 a few weeks ago, and I'm really liking it. I appreciate it bud, honestly.
Did it hold up a year?
@jah12879 yeah man, it did. I upgraded again, but it lasted the year just fine!
How’s it holding up??
Very thurough explanation and demonstration. Thak you.
so nice to see this sharing video sir thank you so much i like to start tattoo soon
im loving this machine.
Oh id like maybe try this out! CNC is the brand i use! Thanks my friend 🇨🇦👍
Please do another review of this or at least a comparison with mast flip
If you have to choose between the CNC P6+wireless power supply and the CNC X-WE what would you do?
Would you usually follow up a RL line with a RS? And if so, what's the thinking behind it (i.e.: the RL lays a more solid foundation?)?
How would you rate the P6 motor against that of the Q2?
What do you think about how it turns on thw top where it changes the stroke.almost like you'd have to use some barrier film to keep it in place?lemme know what you think
I am between this one & the CNC Short Cartridge Machine Faulhaber Q1. Which one do you think is better?
Do you think with time if using constantly 5 volts, the motor is going to give up?
Just purchased the kit as my first tattoo pen. I can’t see were turning any of the dials changes the millimeters of stroke on my machine??
Does packaging for CNC machines, or even Dragonhawk indicate whether or not the machine is direct drive? I see some of the machines have it listed on the website but not all.
What pen do you suggest someone to start out with? And would u prefer a Cnc over mast?
Looking to purchase an adjustable stroke machine for around £200, beeb looking at this or dragonhawk fold. Any recommendations please and thanks 👊🙌
Now I hesitate between de CNC P6 and the Mast Flip. I wonder if the motor possibly can be damaged due a regulary use of a low voltage (like here 5 as it’s recommended between 7 and 11V) ?
Thanks ever for your answer and for the nice contents.
Same I wonder that but I have no idea
Hiya bud I hope this is not a dumb question from me, do you put The stipple just like that on human skin as well. Does it not affect the human skin in anyway cheers Daniel 🇬🇧👍
Hi Daniel, is there an on, off button on the pen? I just bought one and plugged it in to a power supply but it won’t come on and I’m brand new to tattooing so I don’t get it??
I do portrait art.. I've been practicing to do tattoo portrait art on fake skin possibly real when I get more confidence ..what would be the best machine from your experience cordless or wired..
I’d recommend starting with a nice coil machine tbh. I’ve been tattooing for about 13 years and always starting with a coil I’d smart because they’re forgiving in some way. They’re strong and you have to tune them often but they have GIVE. Most rotaries don’t and I’d your just starting that can be damaging to your client. Starting with coils give you the knowledges how machines and needles work and the basic fundamentals that will help you become a better tattoo artist in general! It’s also good to know how to work on your equipment just in case stuff goes wrong.
I bought it today, I noticed that the stroke arrow does not align with the click in the corresponding numbers, is this normal?
my came like this too.
The price with P6 and Q2 is pretty much the same. Wchich one would you recommend for a beginner?
Q2
This model its whork with battery of fkirons xion ?? Please if you have frends whith this battery test it !! Y need an answer urgently !! Your are the best !! Grate post !!
The lightning bolt from fkirons with rca works for it as well as the powerbolt fr9m fkirons which is there box that u connect the rca cord too instead of a power supply u plug into the wall . But check them out they do work
Ciao , aghi per questa macchina dove posso acquistarli ?
I need to get me one...my coil machine just crank out on me🙈
Would like to find a disposable grip that fits the P6
That would actually be a great idea! I would like to have disposable grips as well.
@@DanielYuck FYT makes some disposable grips i wonder if they would fit?
Is this gear type machine sir? Or direct drive machine?
Gear/wheel drive
which one is good all rounder P6 or Q6?
P6 due to adjustable stroke.
Do what you like lol. But saving money on those much cheaper yet reasonable machines, I am 109% for. But you waste all your savings on wrapping that with all that extra bandage wrap lol. Jk. Love your vids. Be great to see you tattoo some real skin as well.
Great video. I was thinking about getting this machine and your video was first on the search. 👍🏼👍🏼#danielyuck
But if you cover the tattoo pen with a bunch of condoms and plastic wraps , is it going to be easy to adjust stroke lengths and the likes ?
How to you get your stencils to be so solid and bright on fake skin???
Stencil stuff or just plain original speed stick works great. Let it dry for an hour minimum if you want it to stay. The longer you let it dry the longer it lasts. If you leave it for 24 hours it’s basically tatted in the fake skin lol super hard to get off
