Wil Shriner hosts the Disneyland 40th Anniversary Special which saw the opening of the Disneyland classic attraction, Indiana Jones Adventure. Aired in 1995.
These old specials are great! Thanks for sharing, I remember waiting in line to ride the Indiana Jones ride for two hours with the decoder cards! Ahhh...the good old days. :-)
I remeber about a year after Indy first opened i went with my younger sister and my cousin to the parks. Me and my cousin were both tall enough but my sister wasn't and she threw a fit- at least me and my cousin had a good time!
CORY!! And Fran! I love how Disneyland's opening ceremony and the Disneyland show were originally on ABC, yet the ABC sitcoms went to Disney WORLD when Disney bought it:):) I STILL can't believe the 80s NBC sitcoms didn't go to Disneyland! SO much potential! I love that woman's voice narrating:)
I went in 1995 and remember the line for Indiana Jones stretching all the way to Thunder Mountain, 3.5 hour wait, yikes, but we got the AT&T decoder cards to keep us entertained.....
I waited three and a half hours to ride Indiana Jones. The line snaked out all the way to the castle in the hub. I barely remember the actual wait but have fond memories of how completely worth it it was to finally get on!
It's sad to think that by the time this special aired, Ronald Reagan was suffering from Alzheimer's (diagnosed in 1994) and was no longer doing public appearances, it would have been sweet to have something from him.
18:45 it’s a world of laughter A world of tears it’s a world of hopes & a world of fears There’s so much that we share That it’s time we’re aware it’s a small world after all
I got laughed at back when I was living in Camden at the library when I was singing and some kids was laughing and mocking me and one person posted the video on Facebook and wrote 15 mean comments instead of nice comments about me and I was embarrassed and upset about it no one likes my talent I like to sing a lot while listening to music and singing along and dancing too any positive advice for me about my situation please I need a new friend someone who’ll accept me for who I am and not judge me just because I’m different from other people please how can I find my happily ever after any advice for me am I considered a princess like princess Aurora my hair is naturally curly
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Stay well! I visited Disney World for my 33rd Birthday, Disneyland for number 45! This year will be 73rd if the LORD tarries, been there, done that! But I think those were the BEST places to CELEBRATE!
