Where I ride the mud sticks to the wheel, with a mudguard the wheels just block, the wheels stop spinning đđ
That's the second function of my full-sized front and rear cargo racks whether loaded or not. I can cover the little gap in the rear where the connector rods go to the top/back of the frame with aluminium foil or Saran wrap for additional protection of me and the saddle. (Have a leather Selle AtĂłmica X saddle plus waterproof cover/Saddle Sauce)
Been using them for years on the MTB. Just use an AssSaver on the roadie as I don't ride it much in the rain and it's more for the puddles.
