In a even more bizarre way, this was so relatable, who would've seen all these commonalities in art style, melo-drama, family dynamics between Indian and Latin household

The fact that this movie makes me cry rivers till date, after watching it for a million times since childhood. Just proves how good of a director kjo is and how fantastic all the actors are. Amitabh Bacchan and Jaya Bacchan are veterans of Indian cinema, and what to say about SRK, he is the king of emotions and romance. Also srk and kajol literally carried the same intense chemistry between them since decades. Hritik and kareena were literal newbies at that time. They delivered a fantastic performance. ITS A MUST, YOU GUYS HAVE TO REACT TO DEVDAS AND KUCH KUCH HOTA HAI. SRK is such a fantastic actor.
Frankly i was not expecting you guyz to enjoy a typical bollywood masala flick so much. I mean yes it was a good movie but not everybody can relate to it. But having said that it will be fun to watch your reactions to a lot of other similar flicks as well.
Ive been waiting for this , this movie is iconic , it feels like a warm hug😭. You should definitely watch kuch kuch hota hai , its an other classic with the same cast (srk , kajol and rani) , and its from the same director . And for a modern one , Rocky au rani is a great movie , its also from the same director .
i think i have definitely watched this movie more than 50 times, i can recite the dialogues, and cry and laugh every single time. it is not just a movie but something you sit and watch with your own families again and again, such a core experience for all 90s and 2000s kids :’)

For Modern Movie : "DEAR ZINDAGI" is a gem!
This movie is one of my rewatch one. There is so many perspective you can see. My fav Scene is when Rahul finally knows that his Father was hurt too. Parents want the best for their child that sometime they forget that their child is their own person too. While Rahul still holding on about him being adopted child, in the other side, they do love him as their own child.
Thats not aluminium foil in some indian sweets we use silver papers like westerners use gold papers on some foods(icecream, steaks , etc.) why not try some indian desserts especially the bengali desserts as they make the most sweetest desserts in india.
You can nitpick a lot if you want but on emotions, this movie hits your heart so deep that you can't hate it. it stays in your heart forever.
and for us SRKians, his charm in this movie is enough. 😍
I always found it poetic how in the beginning of the movie the grandma says how Rohan fought destiny to be born and that the reason for this was so he could be the strength of the family and by the end of the movie this comes to fruition😭
Naina is so underrated. She's so supportive of Rahul's decision to not marry her and weren't bitching about the girl Rahul chose. She's the girl's girl. And I love that character of her in this movie.

I have a fun tip! For bollywood movies, they used to do this little homages to the previous movies that the actors have done. For example, the song at the end of Shava Shava when SRK do the fire on the tongue to Rani! The song was originally performed by her in her previous movies. As well as the scene with Rani and SRK after she realizes she’s not the one he loves.. Was to the movie they had acted together previously in Kuch Kuch hota hai! This little special appearance and subtle links to the previous movies that the actors or the director has done is always fun to watch! Its like combination of different “dimensions “ hehe

One of my favourite Indi movies. Now i can hardly watch an indi movie without dropping it halfway, the flavor is no more there this times as it used to in the 90s and early 2000s
So the way I see this movie is it’s the karma of kajol to finally be with SRK because in KKHH Rani got his heart it’s like alternate universe multiverse type of thing 😮💨🥴🔥 amazing stuff it’s also a throwback to a brother trying to bring back his big bro the real king kinda reminiscent of the Ramayana but just goes to show how toxic parents can be especially Indian parents 🥴 everyone needs a Rohan in their family 🙏🏽😌
