I think the rear view looks amazing, but I can't get over the fact that the front bumper makes it look like the car is a shark that has a massive overbite
not too big a fan of the front nose of the widebody but if you like it James that all that matters! Also the fact you built it yourself makes it pretty darn cool in my book! Keep doing you and we'll keep liking and waiting for the next bombshell.
The only thing that I don’t like about this kit is that lower lip doesn’t stick out far enough on the front bumper. But that’s an easy fix, just need to add a flat panel diffuser to the bottom that matches the length and curve of the upper bumper, other than that it looks amazing!
@@idk79425his father didn’t help? Did u watch the video. It was his dads favourite of his cars and the last one he got to see so he dedicated it to him. His dad had his own life to live
Man we need more videos of you working on the cars. Its actually really interesting. And you can have series of you working on the different projects/builds. I think everyone would really like them and they will probably bring in more views too.
I honestly like it much more than I thought I would... That kit def gives it the more old school Z vibes that it was missing... Literally my only complaint about it is the overhang on the front(pointy bit over the grill) but that could have just been the angle... You can easily push the motor up to just shy of 600WHP with an intake... down pipes... exhaust and a tune.
Hey james i just wanted to say congratulations on the success you've had. I remember getting recommended your video 6 years ago for the first time when i was 12-13 and you had been laid off from your job talking about what would come next. You have truly come so far due to your hard work and persistence. Your amazing house, cars, and relationships are there to show for it. I know you will do even greater things in the future. Keep at it 👍
Two things: 1. Great job on installing the widebody kit yourself! Looks amazing! 2. Time to do a collab video with Burlacher with his widebody challenger. Two cars, widebodied with skinny wheels. Roll up at a car show with the attitude “Wide bodies, skinny wheels is life” 😂 That Z is going to be sick for sure! Enjoying the content!
Yes! It is very important to label your screws and bolts. It might not seem so different to the eye, but usually most bolts are specific to the pressure they must yield along with torque specifications. Last thing you want is a leaky manifold due to ill fitting bolts.
Strad, are you really doing this all by urself young man, & no 1 is behind the scenes helping out ? Proud of ya either way... This build is gonna be sweet.... 😃 😃 😊
That wing one hundred percent makes the entire thing complete I think. It looked good without it but once you set it on there that was the touch it needed. It's going to awesome all painted or wrapped witch ever you decide to do
I always click on a Stradman video as soon as I see it on my feed (unless I'm working). Stradman, you make some of the best content on the internet. Thank for all the videos
This thing will look very good when it is done, just needs the right alignment. I think the nardo grey with white wheels and blue interior looks sick!!
After cutting the fender, I'm assuming new sheet metal is cut and welded to fill the gaps? I've seen TJ's installs as well but I don't recall seeing images of how the fenders are finished off after being cut. I like the retro look of the backend. Reminds me of the early 90's Z.
Paint it....car looks wicked....any new car takes time to adjust to do of course some are gonna hate it but they will come around.....nice two two with the grey an a electric blue!❤
im not usually a fan of the widebody...but I really like them without the rivets..the only thing I didnt care for about this was the wing...but your doing a great job.
I think this is one of the best transformations from a widebody kit. The front looks like a 270z throwback with the pointed nose and the bigger duckbill spoiler is way better!
In my belief, not many people have the opportunity of cutting up and modifying $100,000+ cars and less. James has the courage and the energy and the ability to do it all, not only for his entertainment but ours! All cars are experimental and he proves what can and can’t be done. James, to you my friend i cheers 🍻❤️
Have been watching James for atleast 6 years and as of late, seems he's having challenges coming up with content ideas.. Disappointed only one upload every 10ish days and they're always not long enough. Hope everything is OK with James as he seems to be in a funk.
Paint it an electric lime green with blue glass in it... it will accent the blue interior well and give that gorgeous green blue tint... you see in like northern lights. Plus you could match the wheels and calipers too green calipers with a shade of blue wheels.
Just used this video as a step-by-step for a widebody install and I accidently cut my house in half. Thanks Strad!
lol
Just like me fr
If somebody says what happened say you are trying to do some weight reduction on your house
😆😆 wide bodying your house getting more space
More storage, amazing idea!
I think the rear view looks amazing, but I can't get over the fact that the front bumper makes it look like the car is a shark that has a massive overbite
The front bumper on this car makes it look like a goblin shark and I think it looks terrible, back end though looks stunning
facts facts
My thoughts exactly
I was looking for someone to say it!
Yup..feel the same way. That front overhang is odd.
Man.. I wish I got to experience more of your journey! You are a delight to tune into! Such positive energy and a super positive environment.
I Just love how far you've came with not just the Nissan z but all of your other cars and your house. You're the definition of "Never give up".

i agree on the point that the front nose looks very creepy
Yeah that bumper is atrocious
Fr it's like the gru of bumpers
That might be the ugliest bumper I’ve ever seen. The bottom section should Atleast be equal in distance as the top section
The front nose is definitely odd - the rest looks pretty good.
It has a significant over-bite 😃
Stradman, you’re the G for doing the widebody by yourself 😂
Build is not done until you put a shark fin on it and maybe shark teeth decal for extra class points.
@@Kmh0277I think that would look good with the right paint on it

Literally the best video in a while bro you are a legend for doing all that by yourself ❤ and the car look absolutely amazing out of this world 🎉🎉🎉🎉
people are shocked that strad did it by himself but they forgot that strad started his youtube life as a mechanic
not really but yeah, when he live in his audi TT he's technically a mechanic cuz he fixed his own car
and he widebodied his pink aventador by himself
He started tooling any vehicle was the Jeep in the garage where he kept the Girado
