Additional Tip on Removing Adhesive from Items:
If the hair dryer fails to remove ALL the adhesive, try using vegetable oil or baby oil to dissolve the adhesive.
Most adhesives are oil-based; they are basically dehydrated oils, aka gums. Gums are sticky.
Being oil-based, adhesives will usually release when heated.
But when they don't, apply liberal amounts of an oil, like inexpensive cooking oil, and let sit. The oil will soften and rehydrate the adhesive.
Work the oil over the adhesive residue with your fingers to encourage the release. It may take a few applications to get there, and that's fine. Just wash between applications with undiluted dish detergent.
DO NOT USE A SOLVENT!
Yes, oil is removable with solvents like rubbing alcohol, acetone (nail polish remover) and the like, but it will also dissolve acrylic and other plastics and paint. At best, clear acrylic will 'frost', becoming translucent where applied.
Oil, dish detergent, and limited heat are much gentler tools to removing adhesive labels and their residue.

Also, rolled up marketing bags (net and reusable shopping bags, what the Brits call 'bags-for-life")!
In the past I’ve used lemon essential oil and that worked as well to remove adhesive!! Thank you for your tip on this topic!

Random question, I couldn't help but notice that you said you walk your cats, is that something a lot of people do where you live? I've just never heard of people doing that. I should probably walk mine though lol, as they're getting rather big even though I keep decreasing the amount of food (per the vet recommendations) 🤷♀️
