@@AirsoftNLD hi👋🏾....its me again😄 i have even two of them now. one from 2018 wich have the brass innerbarrel and a 2021 model with a black aluminum barrel. the mechanical parts in the back of the newer one has a different color sheme to it.i guess a differend type of alloy. the surface of the older one is very nice but also very fragile and thin....could really be better...cant say nothing about the "new" one yet. the older received a 1st quality stippling job(dragon skin and deep recessed borders)a triggerguard mod and a vickers tactical +2 magazine extensionso far.(just to let you know it fits vickers and strike industries magextensions,good thing with the filling valve beeing up there👍🏾) i also received a grip plug but it needs some work to make it fit because the opening of the vfc is too small. i want to add a black/red aluminum guns modify trigger,but cant tell if its hard to get it back together🤷🏾♂️ both are equipped with the ML 50° green hop up rubber too... now to my question... do you know if i can use a maple leaf aluminum hop up unit made for 19s & 17s?(there is like nothing for the 42 it seems) from what i have seen the hop up unit it self is differend then on 19 or 17. i wanted to add some raised real steel sights to it but afraid that it wont hold up well...the construction on these new glocks are somewhat🤦🏾♂️ my ksc and kwa glocks took real steel sights like it was made for it. here i have to drill and cut treads...pfff! did you do anything to your 42 internally at all so far? are the hop up chamber/barrel parts interchangeable? sorry for asking holes in your stomach but most of my german fellows are somewhat...grappig😉 i started on my umarex17 gen5 pak blank gun to add a nice stippling job. the walls are so thick that i was able to reshape the whole grip area and go really deep on the borders... the 17 is too blocky for my hands so i grinded and shaped a good portion of the material...fits now like a glove😍😍 greetings from germany👋🏾

Great video. I am considering 2 pistols: the KSC g26c or this one, the umarex g42. I was going to opt for this one until I came across the hammer issue. Is this an easy fix? Does it continue? waiting for a reply🤞
Mine came messed up and after weeks of contacting the shop I got it from they let me keep gun and refunded me my money back. It shoots 1 bullet and then blows the slide off the rails... if I put the magazine in the freezer I can get maybe 3 or 4 shots until it jams. Guess it’s a hit or miss.

you can add the extension from strike industries to the airsoft magazine but without gaining rounds. there is a video from doc snyder here on yt regarding that issue for the G42. so its just the extension for a better grip and it really looks the part.
The only G42's that I can find have the extended magazines. Did yours come with the standard mag? If you bought the mag somewhere else could you tell me where? Thank You
I had one of these there a piece of shit I racked the slide back one day and it got stuck and tried diffrent ways to sort it but that was the end of the gun was to much for cost repair
You really shouldn't be adding silicon oil, or even using green gas for that matter, in a gas blowback. Using regular propane is a lot better for the gun.
@@antonio8393 You're absolutely not. Green gas has silicone oil, which in theory, should work to the benefit of the gun. In practice, it doesn't get anywhere it's supposed to. It gets shot into the nozzle, then into the hopup chamber and barrel, since it's in the same container as the gas. Getting silicone oil in the bucking causes it to swell and become weak, and getting it in the barrel creates grit over time. Airsoft companies recommend GG because it lets them shove silicone oil into propane then sell it for twice what it's worth. Start researching.
@@clickpond7825 yes maybe thats true but i dont want to go through the hassle of adding silicone oil myself (the gun still needs it), propane is prohibited on all my local fields and it stinks so bad
@@antonio8393 The gun absolutely does not need it lmao, in fact the best way to lube your airsoft pistol is to put synthetic grease with ptfe on the rails. That's quite literally all you'll need, if it needs more than that then something probably needs to be adjusted internally. And as I stated before, green gas doesn't get silicone oil anywhere it's supposed to be. It quite literally lubes nothing except for the nozzle, the bucking, the hopup chamber, and the barrel. All of which are places you don't want any lube, except for maybe a thin layer of ptfe grease on the inside of the nozzle.

its a a 42.. waaaaaay smaller so no only 42 fits
you can add the extension from strike industries to the airsoft magazine but without gaining rounds.
