- Hey CZcams! I hope this video isn't too long & i hope its simple enough to follow. I loved making the wooden planks to create the barrel! For the ice cubes I used Fox's glacier mints & I cut them in half, which is actually pretty easy to do & it looks super effective :) This could be adapted for any topping or drink choice really, I think it would make a fab Fathers Day cake! Anyways, hope you enjoy the video :D feel free to share it with your friends! X
Fab cake! 🤩
Thankyou! 😊
You are sticking the fondant with water ?? And the white powder to roll the fondant is cornflour ??
Yes water, and the powder is icing sugar but it can dry out the fondant, so id suggest a little cornflour instead x
Nice 😊 how did you cut the cubes in half?
Its suprisingly easy! With a sharp knife & little pressure they just split x
Beautiful! Can u share the link to buy bottles plz? Are they edible or only for decoration? Thanks.
They're real, miniatures, just from local off licences x
@@samijos Means? They are real mini beer bottles? They have beer in it?
Yeah, it's actually the drink 🍸
@@samijos Oh gr8... how do we get it?
I'm not sure, we just have them in our local stores, you may have to search online to find them in your area, search for "minature"
beautiful. where do you get the edible logo?
A local lady who prints, but ebay also do them 😁
Great beer cake! Please share your ice cube recipe?
Just Fox's glacier mints ☺
Do the mints make the fondant taste minty please??.
@@paulaalexander9734 I was wondering the same thing?
How did u make those ice cubes??
Hi, its Fox's glacier mints cut in half ☺
Hi there, What are you using to stick the fondant and the bottles to the top?
Just water to make it tacky 💧
surely the cake will taste of mint n not chocolate
I'm sure it won't, those a very hard boiled sweets, likely to be taken off before eating, plus the chocolate flavour will overpower any hint of mint they might leave on the top.
