❤️❤️❤️
Te quedó perfecto !!!! Me hubiera encantado ver como decorabas la base
There is another video for that x x
I have a few questions. What kind of dusts are those? what did you use to cover cake ? And also what sizes are the cakes
Hi I love your tutorial I’m a beginner and wanna give this barrel cake a go for my sons 40th birthday this weekend what do I need to know that you didn’t show on your tutorial? Dod I let the wood panels dry a little or just do them all and put them straight on the cake? Any advice would be greatly appreciated thank you in advance. Lot of love from Australia 🇦🇺
Hey hun x I didn’t let mine dry, I put them straight on the cake once they were embossed x hope your son has a wonderful birthday. I know your cake will be amazing x x
What size cake is that/how many layers? Thanks for the video! I was hoping to find an easier way to make this.
Thank you hun x it’s a 6” cake. 3 layers (approx 1-5” tall) x
Hi your tutorial is great and easy to follow, I just wondered what size your cake was and how many layers did you have?
Thank you sweetie x x this would have been 3 layers of 6” cake (each layer around 1 1/4”) x
@@NautyLittleTreats That's great I'm going to give this one a go for my sons 18th birthday but with beer bottles 😁
Also was liquid do you put on the cake before you put the fondant so it can stick
I just use water but you can use piping gel or even trex (crisco in America) x
Where you buy the jack Daniel paper?
It’s an image printed onto edible icing paper. It’s been a while since I made this and honestly can’t remember who I purchased it from x sorry x
@@NautyLittleTreats oh ok. No worries thank you.
Hi what size cake pans are you using? Is that chocolate ganache on top of you cake? Can you put this cake in the refrigerator after completed with this fondant brand thanks
Hi there, this was a 6” cake. Yes I coat my cakes in ganache to give a nicer firmer finish to work with. I don’t place fondant into the fridge, so the last time my cake would go in the fridge is when the ganache is on x
Fantastic. I am going to try this for a friend. Please cross fingers🎉
You will do amazing x x hope your friend likes it x
What can I use for colouring, other than edible dust ?
You can use food colouring. I would mix with rejuvenator spirit to dilute and to help to dry faster x
How much fondant is needed to make the wooden sides of the cake
The amount you use will depend on the size and height of your cake. I would have used no more than 3x 250g packs
Do we need to dry the fondant before we keep it on cake
No hun, place it straight on the cake whilst it’s got some movement in it. If left to dry it may break/crack as your trying to position it all (unless you measure them correctly before) x
@@NautyLittleTreats thanks for the reply
What size are the panels?
I honestly don’t remember, this cake was done a long time ago. I just left them the same size as the texture mat for ease
@@NautyLittleTreats haha its fine, I actually did the cake yesterday already 😊
Sou brasileira não entendo...essas massas são compradas na internet.ou posso fazer de pasta americana
Amiga, esa masa se llama fondant y es lo mismo que la pasta americana !!!
It’s ready to use fondant x
