Absolutely love Steph!! The emotion she conveys in this song is mesmerizing!! Especially the "take the hurt out of all the pain" line, how she goes from strong to soft is amazing, so beautiful!! Steph to win!!

Steph was phenomenal - her singing and acting were exceptional. The "take the hurt out of all the pain" line in particular stood out. Poor Stephanie didn't stand a chance. She looked like a complete novice in comparison.

I would have loved to have seen Lauren and Steph sing this. Sounds silly, but I imagine it would have been amazing.
Lol at anyone saying Stephanie should/could have won. Steph completely outclassed her in this sing off. Stephanie's voice wasn't nearly as gentle or sincere. There was no hope for her.

Steph would make an absoulutely amazing Scaramouch in We Will Rock You ... but I think she could definately be Dorothy. I'm not being biast because i'm welsh but I think if Sophie comes out of her shell she will steal the show. Her voice is just so beautiful. Either Steph or Sophie to win :) Good luck girls.

Even though Steph has been in the bottom two twice, she has never had the lowest number of votes.
Also, to be fair, one cannot say just because someone is in the bottom two, the public does not like them. It could be for reasons such as thinking they are safe and therefore there is no need to vote because of consistently good performances and thinking "others" will vote for them.

If they were looking for a modern Dorothy, Stephanie would of been perfect. But in the end, Danielle was the right choice

@EllaDiabola may i dare to disagree, it is a sad song, but it's bittersweet and i prefer a sad smile version... it's a song about not wanting to be sad, but wanting to smile through the pain! abut wanting to spend the last day together looking at happy things... in my opinion... :)

Who went through?
They're both really good, but the taller one (Stephanie?) does some really odd things with her mouth, which I find a bit distracting, so for that reason alone I'd have saved the other one. Is that wrong?
Stephanie was my favourite but I have to admit Steph totally deserved it after this-she was way better. Hope she wins, doubt it though :(
I think Steph has a stronger voice, it's smoother and more controlled. I could so see her in Wicked..
@Aurora7 Or maybe the public should put aside blinkered favourism & regional biasses and vote on the only thing that matters talent.Alternatively maybe the panel should be able to pick one of the bottom two?

Jessica and Sophie should go this sunday as they are the weakest two but we'll have to wait and see! Danielle, Lauren and Steph final 3 !
@KatyRosex13 .You made some good points ,stephanie was my favorite.Yet i think the best person for the role won. Mind you i think danielle is the secret love child of Hancock an AWL ,Their choice to win was clear early on. Still Stephanie has a great future . So alls well that ends well !
You also see him grimacing during performances that he likes; it's just his demeanour, you can't use it to judge what he's thinking. The public were fickle; every single girl was in the sing-off at least once. Plus Emilie was by far the worst but she survived the sing-off for several weeks while stronger girls left. I'm not trying to discredit Stephanie, she's a very talented girl, but she wasn't right for the role either, and ALW made the right choice by sending home the weaker performer.

@TheHughLundy I agree, regional bias is a problem, it should be based on talent. However this has always been a problem for these type of talent shows... I'd like to think the audience who watch this show are a little more musically clued up... however with Emilie and Sophie lasting as far as they have it's hard to prove that theory.

She was though, she wasn't nearly as versatile and I didn't feel the same emotional connection when she sung as I did when Steph performed. Stephanie was a brilliant dancer but Steph was no slouch either. Steph doesn't fit the ideal Dorothy image, but at the end of the day she was kept over Stephanie for a reason. Stephanie had the look but she just wasn't as good.

@TheHughLundy No problem, regional votes annoy me to no end... I'm from Scotland but I'm not swearing that Jenny HAS to win. I think Jenny has talent, just not as much as a few other girls. Therefore I don't necessarily think she should win. Tricky business this talent show malarky! Altho, I'd be an awesome judge on these shows... :P hahaha.
I was so shocked - Stephanie for me was the Connie of this series - total front runner, and I totally didnt think in a million years she'd ever be in the bottom two, let alone get kicked off. She was a-m-a-z-i-n-g.
I really love Steph's voice, but IMHO neither girl did this song any justice. Such a shame. I love the emotion Steph put into it, though.
How correct Andew Lloyd Webber was to be annoyed at having to choose between these two wonderful ladies I'm lost for a word to praise both highly enough.Stephanie was amazingly graceful nin her speech but she has been nothing but graceful, fun and brilliant all alone. Please do not put Steph in this position. Save that for someone who truely deserves it(hints, she wears green & can't dance)
Both of them sang beautifully, but I think Steph deserved to be saved more because she's a better actress; Stephanie still seems a little too young and inexperienced for the theatre. She was smiling her way through this song too, and it's a sad, emotional song; she shouldn't be smiling.

Disappointed these two were the bottom. Steph sang better in the Sing Off, it's a tough decision... each of them gave great performances each week. However, Steph has been in bottom 2 twice now... perhaps they should consider the publics opinion? Even if it is silly. Then again Stephanie did get the lowest votes. I've said it once I'll say it again.. SONG CHOICE IS VITAL!! Wonderful sing off however.

Stephanie's voice sounds nicer, but she powered it too much.
He always looks like that, and Steph had been outperforming Stephanie throughout the whole competition. Neither girls were exactly right for Dorothy, but why save the weaker performer?
i think that Stephanie did a better job of this song. Steph is really good and she is amazing but for me, on the acting on on this song, Stephanie did better. I think she would have made a better Dorothy.

Absolute wrong decision! it was about acting, steph did no acting. I like steph but i felt Stephanie put more into it.

there's not one girl that screams out to me they are all rather bland but in a good way however, danielle stole the show and i do think that the green girl with the extremely protruding lower lip and the girl that lost last night with the lisp and the tongue problem i'd HATE to see in a show. as an avid west end theatre goer they both put me off. steph very pretty but not a dorothy - cant bear the tears at the end when all they're probably thinking is i'm so glad its not me!
I miss this Stephanie...also, unpopular opinion it would seem, but I would 100% have picked Stephanie to stay and Steph to go. Steph is very talented, but she never right for the part.
