Eat lots of Broccoli, particularly on your period. It stops my excess of bleeding. MACA root from Peru, put it on your smoothies (banana, almond milk, peanut butter and table spoon of MACA) Carrots, apple and cinnamon. Eat plenty of these food and you will be fine. Spirulina and chlorela will also balance your hormones. All the berries fruits are also great. Cut sugar and meat as much as possible. Fish and seafood might be okay

Yes cabbage is a cruciferous vegetable. Also cauliflower, Brussels Sprouts, radish, bok choy, mustard greens, collards and kale.
What about fermented dairy? Im post meno and have just been diagnosed with a fibroid and a cyst, using most of the above what you have mentioned.

Thank you! I have used vitex, DIM, turska, proteolytic enzymes, and liver detox with low dairy, fish, no meats, veges, and prayer support. When doing all this consistently, a small one disappeared. Getting back on this again.

I have been taking these supplements for over 7 months and Fibroids are the same size but they haven't grown any. Dim, Calcium D Glucarate, Nac, EGCG, Vit D, Burdock Root, Dandilion Tea, serrapeptase and Heme Iron, also Castor oil pack.
From my understanding, heme iron has estrogen in it because its whats derived from animals

drink rasberry tea it contains something specific to srink fibroids and eat lots of dates, figs, sweet potato Remove dairy and eggs.
I use DIM, yellowdock, calcium d-glucarate, dandelion root. I drink plenty of water since these supplements require it. No alcohol or caffeine. I have experienced the pain of fibroid dying off. Feels awful but my stomach is shrinking.

@@starrjohnson1327 okay that’s good to know. I’m in menopause so my bleeding isn’t from mg periods . I really appreciate you getting back to me and telling me what you used and sharing your story . I am so exhausted from all this for the last few days and I got refused treatment from the drs , in fact they let me bleed for two years straight and did nothing. They did give me a brain injury in 2017 which I think contributed to this problem. I wish I could sue them, take them out of practice . These drs down here are a danger to their patients and get away with doing this to people . Unbelievable what the drs have done to me in the last few years . I have suffered so much and I have just about had it with all this stuff . A benzo injury was not fun to struggle with for five plus years, I didn’t ask for them to do what they did to me . I had back problems and was on meds for it and they took it all away from me and denied me any treatment for that as well

I have watched so many videos on how to shrink fibroids, but this is the only one that provides an entire picture of what herbs, supplements and lifestyle changes to take in order to shrink fibroids! Thank you so much! I am determined to avoid taking hormonal drugs and surgery. I am already doing all of the diet suggestions you have made, so I'll be introducing supplements and herbs. I think the only thing I would add is to include a good quality iron supplement for the heavy bleeding. This has been so incredibly helpful!

I am taking dim and I have pain and bloating too(
I also take vitex, vitamin a, vitamins b complex, omega 3 , primrose oil.
My fibroid grew on hrt which I stopped.
I am 46 soon , peri , had terrible hot flashes but my fibroids were stable, not growing.

I just found out I have fibroid 6 of them the largest is 19.cm.. it's enlarging my uterus and causes a very mild bilateral hydronephrosis, right greater than left. But I dont have heavy bleeding or pain , because I exercise alot.. I will not eliminate all red meat, Dairy etc from diet

@@joyoflearning2124 Turska's! Yes one of my favorite formulas. With a comprehensive approach I have seen patients shrink their fibroids. It can be tricker with those >10 cm. The biggest factor is the patient's dedication to the process and the elimination/reduction of the main obstacles to cure: alcohol, sugar and stress!

Just started taking burdock root and dandelion root tea for detoxing liver and kidneys then taking lady's mantle herb, I soak then over night then drink in the morning but with the burdock root and dandelion root I soak over night then simmer on stove for ten minutes. Herbs good. And fermented food

When I work with my patients, I choose herbs that are specific to their hormones and other organ systems such as liver, GI and adrenals that are contributing to their fibroids. On the right combination of herbs with lifestyle and nutrition, I have found that my patients can heal.

Hi doc I have multiple fibroids, heavy prolong bleeding, my Gynecologist suggested surgery, and doing Shepherd's purse, Yarrow flowers, Raspberries leaves powder milk thistle and vitex, hoping to stop the heavy bleeding, if that doesn't help I will have to take the contraceptive,
You might also want to ask your gynecologist to check your ferritin levels. Low iron can make the bleeding worse.

Would a sitz bath help with calcified fibroids, my concern though is UTI?
Sitz baths wouldn't cause a UTI (urinary tract infection) and could help increase circulation to the pelvis especially if you alternate between hot and cold. This is not an approach I often take with my fibroid patients but is worth trying in addition to other treatments.
I tried castor oil packs, herbs, I don’t drink alcohol and eat quite healthy, sadly all my efforts it didn’t shrink, it grew larger 😢so I’m going to try have them removed surgically
It's not always about eating healthy its more about what you are eating or not eating. Healthy clean low carb non dairy along with fasting is beneficial I hear. Plus you need to be consistent for a few months before you rule out dieting. Or a long fast my also help... that is with caution and research.

Phytoestrogens help with hormone regulation and can be appropriate component of a fibroids protocol. Though phytoestrogens have structure similar to estrogen, they are weaker and can bind to estrogen receptors which helps to prevent the binding of xenoestrogens (strong artificial estrogens found in plastics and other chemicals). Flax in particular contains lignans (phytoestrogens) which increase levels of sex-hormone-binding globulin (SHBG). SHBG actually binds to estrogen and testosterone making more of these hormones in the inactive form.

Can the DIM and calcium d glucarate lower your circulating estrogen so much in perimenopause that your other symptoms are way worse? Ie hot flashes, mood, insomnia, spotting, irregular cycles, anxiety… My acupuncture doc kept me off

DIM and CDG help with the way estrogen is detoxified in the body and can still be appropriate for perimenopausal and menopausal women predisposed to estrogen dependent conditions such as fibroids even if their estrogen levels are low or normal.
Is DIM still recommended if you suffer from hypothyroidism?
Yes as it’s not considered a goitrogen like when you eat raw cruciferous vegetables as it doesn’t contain Isothiocyanate. That being said if you are on thyroid medication it must be taken a minimum of 2 hours apart.
Are you suggesting that taking progesterone can add to fibroid growth? I take micronized compounded to help keep my estrogen dominance down but also get the support of progesterone - my naturopath did not mention it could contribute to their growth but said it should help slow it down. She is mistaken?
Actually a number studies have come out recently showing that taking exogenous progesterone could actually support and promote the formation of fibroids. Here is a really great study from 2020 www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7762035/
It’s really most important to determine the source of the estrogen dominance or insufficient progesterone in the case of relative estrogen dominance (normal estrogen with low progesterone)

Hello Dr Branin, I've e already had 2 surgeries to remove 2 fibroids admeasuring 6 and 7 cm respectively. I'm 45 with regular periods lasting 5 days with fibroidic breasts, severe bloating, water retention, frequent urination. I also have Hashimoto thyroidism. Do you think DIM will help? Hello, Dr.! Thank you for this video. I am scheduled for a UFE next week. I have over 30 fibroids ranging from 1cm to the size of a melon. The Dr. even says the big ones may not shrink very much due to initial size. I just started taking herbs to help shrink the fibroids. If I go forward with the UFE which will block blood flow to the fibroids will the herbs be able to get to the fibroids still? I’m trying to use herbs and UFE to get them as small as possible, keep my uterus, and fit my clothes again. Will the UFE limit the effect of the herbs?

Hi Doctor, Can I know if I have fibroid operation it has any impact for pregnancy? I do have outside fibroid but my specialist suggests go for operation.
Without knowing your history I wouldn't be able to fully give you the best assessment. In some cases having fibroids removed surgically can improve a woman't chances of getting pregnant if their location can prevent implantation or the travel of sperm. Though I did have a patient whose fibroid surgery did cause major weaknesses to her endometrium which prevented her from being able to carry a baby to term.
