They are classic and timeless shoes perfect for a day out! Apart from one pair, all of the shoes you see are flats and quite vintage inspired so if you're looking for some tips on how to style flat shoes with skirts and dresses, I hope you can find some inspiration! I completely agree with you, Kirsten. Yes, women look elegant in high heels, but they are just not practical when you have long walks and you're sightseeing. Therefore I'm mostly in comfortable flats, usually some sort of trainers, or boots. Your beautiful collection of shoes was very inspirational for me, so next time I go shopping, I'll try something similar.

Shoes!! I love the combination of dresses with the adorable boots! The leather lace up boots are timeless classic. Your outfits are stunning. A tall leather boot will never go out of style, your right. For rain or walking in the woods I just bought a pair of Le Chameau. Actually, the shoes are very lady like 🥰

Love your style, so feminine - always! I live in the country, walk a lot, and rarely do anything these days that requires elegant shoes (except for a harp gig on occasion), and I'd never be able to walk in heels anyway, so I completely understand that! Love the quality and how well you take care of your shoes, too ❤👞👢

I always style sneakers with summer dresses / all my shoes are flat nowadays I also have hunger wellingtons and some cheaper boots part leather and suede / just love my comfort

I too love your style, you always look so beautiful. Many years ago I was very much in love with the british "Landlady" style and was sewing nearly all my clothes myself. Also had some Laura Ashley dresses, always worn with flat shoes, trainers or boots. After some circumstances there was nothing left oft all those things. But guess what: you inspired me to buy me a vintage Laura Ashley dress (was shocked about the prices!). Hopefully I will dare to wear it, now that I am 60 plus. It has not arrived yet, fingers crossed.

I agree wearing comfortable shoes is important, especially when you’re on your feet all day long.
I always loved high heel shoes but when I turn 40 play chiropractor told me I should not wear them anymore because it was not good for my back I remember when I was in Hawaii and having my hair done the hairdresser was wearing you know 5-inch at least heels. She told me that she could no longer wear flat heels because her muscles in her legs could no longer accommodate flat shoes. I think you are a very wise elegantly beautifully dressed woman. I love shoes. I love my boots where I wear all the time on my ranch working with the cattle. I love your shoes because you mix it with dresses and trousers. I wear my tennis shoes (KEDDS) with dresses too with a jean jacket that I love. Love your style. Thank you for sharing. Love from Texas 🤠❤❤❤

Your taste in shoes is similar to mine! I’m a sucker for brogues, Chelsea boots and Vans. I too find heels difficult and can’t wear the skyscraper high car-to-bar styles, although, yes, a lot of them are beautiful.
I've been meaning to watch this video for a while, and I'm really glad I did. My favorite were the LK Bennett ankle boots. Thanks for the great ideas.
My first job out of college was as a shoe manager for a women's clothing boutique. I definitely developed a shoe fetish, but have never been able to wear high heels. I've always loved flats and kitten heels. I've found some wonderful buys in consignment shops. It's good to have a good shoe repair shop you trust. I wear my shoes for years and years. I confess that I have some from consignment stores that are more like artwork and I have them on display - wearing only occasionally.
I have a lot of things in my mind to say, lots of love and admiration to you ❤️❤️ you inspire me a lot, thank you soooo much for spreading love, peace, and happiness. Thank you for showing me how to enjoy life mindfully and with simplicity … a big hug and many thanks 🙏🏽 🌸🌸🌸💕💕❤️
I LOVE your outfit!! You look so good in that plaid vest! Like you, I have to wear very flat shoes because I have degenerative disc disease in my back, and after 3 back surgeries, I can no longer wear the "pretty sit down" shoes. You always look so ladylike in your dresses, love your style!

I still remember my first pair of hard shoes when I was 2 1/2 yrs old. They were black and white saddle shoes. I was so thrilled with my unique and amazing shoes, that I got myself outside on our porch, hoping that the entire neighborhood (full of countless children of all ages), would admire my beautiful shoes!
Move forward to the age of 12. Bass cordovan, wingtip kilty shoes were the shoes to have. They were to die for!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, I indeed, did get blessed by my mom to get me a pair!
I was so in love with those shoes, I wore them to bed every night for close to two months!!!!
I still long for those shoes.......something special......

. I also wear more dresses than pants, I think wearing flat shoes is a sort of liberty for the women. When I was younger I was wearing heals from 5 or 6 centimeters and at the end of the day I suffered a lot. Now I think that it is not for me anymore it doesn’t t go with my age or activities for I walk a lot by the day...

Love the look at your shoe stash! I especially love your tall boots, although they usually don't work for me because I have wide calves. Glad you included the sneakers - keeping it real! I agree I never wore knee length boots until was shopping in Italy for some sandals. I saw some beautiful knee highs in their sale section the assistant asked if I'd like to see them and I said how they never fitted because of width problems. She brought three different styles over in different widths. To my surprise and delight the second width really fitted like a glove. My husband's face when I came back to the car with 5 different bags he knows how expensive these shoes are. But in fact after I bought the sandals I bought the three styles of boots in different co?ours plus because of this amount my purchases came to I was able to buy a second pair of sandals at 20% of original price.
I've lost count of how long ago but it has to be at least 10years. I'm still wearing all of them and only recently was complimented by a new friend on one of the pair's of boots she thought were new.
I live in SCOTLAND so boots get a lot of wear. It's worth paying for good quality and maintaining them well they pay for themselves when you think on how often middle range shoes/ boots need replacing.

I used to be a Shoeaholic years ago, but now I only wear good walking boots and shoes. I have Josef Seibel, Ecco, but my favourite make of boots are REIKER, which I think are originally from Germany. I made the mistake of working for years in retail on hard floors not wearing the right shoes. Comfort and style are not opposed to each other. I have noticed how both of you have a wonderful sense of style. Leather and suede are my favorite. Italian shoes. Can’t beat them. By the way your hair is perfect!

I had shoes similar to the ones you had at 6:30. I LOVVVED them. However, I was in 6th grade when I got them. My family called them witch shoes, but they were the most memorable pair of shoes I ever had. I miss them.

Thank you so much for your videos. While I can’t afford the brands you have purchased, your style inspires me. I have been able to find many similar items that are in my price range. Thrifting has been a good option as well and makes me fell like I am doing good for the world.
Absolutely, we love thrifting! When we buy new, we have our items for ages but also buy vintage and antique furniture.

Your shoes will never go out of style, classic shoes as those look great with any outfit. My favorites were the 3 tone flats, love those with the tweed trousers. Also loved those Catanaro boots.

you have gorgeous shoes. thank you for sharing them, i have worn heels for the majority of my life for any special occasion and also for work, i am now 51 and just don't want to deal w foot pain and discomfort... this video is awesome as i transition to flats but desire quality and classic looks that look polished on all occassions.
