July 8, 1938: The premiere of MGM's lavish biopic "Marie Antoinette" showcases many stars: Norman Shearer, Tyrone Power, Judy Garland, Freddie Bartholomew, John Barrymore, Adrian, Fanny Brice, Robert Young, James Stewart, and more! Included in the short are the preparations made by MGM and the theatre (Cathay Circle) for the premiere.
The premiere took place at the Cathay Circle Theater in Hollywood, CA.
