Norma Shearer was my late mother’s very favorite actress and she as a young girl found a coin during the Depression that allowed her to see Norma in Marie Antoinette. She loved it!
That is a wonderful memory. Thank you for sharing this
I've been a fan of Norma shearer since I was 11. She was absolutely wonderful.
Lifelong Shearer Fan
Love Norma Shearer! What a beauty!
Love this! Thank you for uploading this!
I am so glad that someone highlighted that scene in The Women when she's telling little Mary about the divorce. I tear up every time I watch it. Just her facial expression conveys more than any dialogue.
Huge Janet Leigh fan, spectacular beauty and a superb actress who didn't get as many great parts as she deserved. Thank you Norma Shearer, love her polished 30s style, I want to discover more of her filmography.
My all time favorite movie I’ve ever watched is :the women”. Norma Shearer is a brilliant actress and needs to be celebrated more. My mother and my aunt wore their hair like Norma and my sister had her done like Norma for my wedding. Such a talented beautiful actress.♥
Please of course ungratefulness….
An important actress, especially in the Pre-Code Era.
Wonderful testimony.
What a pair of beauties!!!
She was a splendid actress, and in her best roles, she was terrific. She's become one of those great stars lost to the advance of time and the expansion of cultural stupidity.
Nice
I love Janet. She has such a cute voice
This is an interesting story. What would it be like to be discovered by Norma Shearer?
Shouldn't it be Janet Leigh on Norma Shearer?
😳😳😳😳😳😳***O-M-G*** i can't believe that i missed it for this long... *{FACE PALM}* THANKS.
Anybody knows the name of this movie? Where is this scene from? Absolutely stunning 2:21
Retired way too soon!
She would of been a great Scarlett O’Hara. But she was one of the few actresses who didn’t want the role.
Hollywood Royalty.
