I sat in my parked truck and cried out to God through sobs. I didn't know what was going on, why he was keeping me without child and why I was feeling so alone and sad because of it. I said through snot and sobs as I held my hands and head to the stirring wheel "can you hear me?" And all of a sudden I knew He was there. As if he suddenly opened my eyes to realize His presence was with me. He didn't offer me any answers, He didn't guide me to any scripture or didn't give me a vision..He was just...there. and let me know that. I sobbed in gratitude and asked Him to forgive me to questioning Him. Little did I know I had conceived two weeks prior after 3 years of being baran and 13 months of dedication of trying. Trust in Him and His time. I'll never question Him again, but I'll always know He'll be here with me matter the trials or heart aches I go through. He truly is the comforter.

Who gave you the idea that the Word of God is something written in paper and ink? That’s not found in the Bible. JESUS is the perfect Word of God and our final authority to whom we submit ourselves, not the Bible. We do not follow the written letter, but we should be led by God’s spirit like Christ was and be conformed to his image. That’s all that He requires of us. The Bible is history, but many turn it into an idol and think that they’re truly following Christ just by their ability to quote regurgitated verses. That’s not what being a Christian is.

John 14:16 “I am the way, the TRUTH, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” - Jesus.
Jesus Christ is God’s Word and Truth. If you have the Holy Spirit you don’t need a book to guide you or achieve God’s moral standards. Yes, you can still read history, but the book itself is pointing you towards something else: Jesus.

I love that you ask people if they would use their mother's name as a cuss word, because people take the name of God so lightly and it helps them put that in perspective.
Taking the name of the Lord in vain doesn't have to do with swearing though. It has to do with representing him as an ambassador, so it is misrepresenting who he is as his representative.

People don't use their mother's name as a cuss word because there is no power in it. They resist admitting it, but innately, people know that the ultimate power resides in God.

And I don't care if Jesus looked Asian, black, white, or brown because it ain't about that! Who had bewitched you to think this way! Don't you remember that we're all made in the image of God? If God cared so much about race color Jesus would've mention it, but he didn't. Now I do agree that it is wrong to have any picture of a suppose Jesus, because it is unbiblical and it may lead to Idolatry. We should only pray and praise God in spirit.

When I was in college, there was a girl that was a new Christian. But the church that she was attending was teaching her things that went against the Bible. I told her, that's not what the Bible says. She countered with, that's what her minister said.
This was about 25 years ago. I've often wondered about her. I can only hope and pray that she has found a church that taught the word.
