Bad co is just an awesome band. Paul Rodgers doesn't age his voice is phenomenal.
Right?? I saw them live with ZZ Top in Dallas in 2019 and they still sound amazing!!
I appreciate the compliment
AAAAANNNDDD we've got fake Paul Rogers on line 1 đ ***SCAM LIKELY***
It's criminal that this Awesome band isn't in the HOF. So many great songs.
Totally agree with you this band is amazing very underrated in my opinion.đ€
So many good bands not in the HOF. It's a bunch of crap going on in that org.
@@gerhardbraatz6305 The Hall is a complete joke. Foreigner, Styx, Reo Speedwagon, Blue Oyster Cult and a lot of other great Classic Rock Bands deserve to be inducted. They don,t like Rock and Roll. I wouldn,t be surprised, if they induct Justin Beaver before all these great Rock bands.
Well just look at the morons that are on the board that make these selections they put crap like NWA in the Rock and roll Hall of Fame when they're not even rock and roll but Bad Company's not in there, neither is Free from what I understand and three dog night who have a bunch of hits. The Rock and roll Hall of Fame is a joke!
Really! Thatâs crazy!
When the BAD CO album hit, you knew they were for real players and Paul Rogers is one of the top vocalists in Rock Music history. Period.
Brad & Lex, youâll love their "Silver, Blue & Gold" and âMovinâ Onâ !!
Silver, blue and gold is a killer tune
I also love Silver, Blue and Gold. My favourite B.C. song.
Good loving gone bad and Rock and roll fantasy.
Imo one of the most underrated bands of all time. They literally have dozens of amazing songs, and arenât even in the rock n roll hall of fame⊠smh
Not in the RRHF? No way, you must be mistaken. If true, that's a travesty of monumental proportions! ... especially considering all the crap artists that were inducted.
Bad Company is awesome and Paul Rodgers still sounds awesome. As far the hof goes, yes they deserve to be in, as do many others and more than others! But Iâm older than the RRHF. They canât all go in at once.
They've always been one of my favorite bands from the start. That debut album is flawless. Love Free also.
Paul Rodgers vocals are so soulful and unmistakable.
Strongly agree about their first album. I never tire of listening to it - all of it, whenever possible.
Paul Rodgers = one of the greatest pure rock and roll voices ever đ„đ„đ„
YES!!!
How they are not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a mystery. Great band, great vocals, great songs.
Not in the RRHF??? You must be kidding! ... considering the garbage that has already been inducted... and some of them aren't even R&R.
@@marcillioficino4663 pretty sure never even been nominated, like Boston, Foreigner, Frampton, Styx. And many more.
@@laurakali6522 Well, that figures in this upside down world we live in; where mediocrity is worshipped and true talent is ignored.
There music passes the test of time. They should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!
I know hey....Bad Company was so much bigger than ''FREE'' and they are in the H.O.F.
Paul Rodgers voice is brilliant, but that guitar solo is perfection.
Thank you, so nice of you to say.
Brad and Lex still have the best no-nonsense intro in the âreaction gameââŠ.They just get right to it! Love yâall. Hope youâre enjoying your new addition!!!
Top 10 band of mine. Straight forward rock, with soulful vocals on every track they put out.
Mr. Paul Roger's one of the most underrated vocalist in Rock history. Sang with Queen as well.
How is he underrated? Everyone is always going on and on about him, at least in my experience.
Perfect song for Lex, when she lets closes her eyes, let's herself go and lets the music flow.
Rock Steady you two.
She's absolutely right !!
Light up your Lava Lamp and "Rock Steady"...
That's the vibe !
One of many this band has given us over the years. I love this band. Always have. They should be in the hall of fame! One I haven't heard reacted to yet is Wildfire Woman from the straight shooter album. Go for it please. Keep rockin you two. đ€đ€đđ
Kids, just remember that in every rock song the rock means something else. Rock Steady, Rock all Night etc. Means baby gravy. Even in MJ's Rock with You its all the same thing.
Love you guys, been watching you since the get-go. You have no idea how helpful your entertainment was during my many months of of recuperation after my Kidney transplant. I would always watch ( and still do) your new reaction late at night during my most difficult times. I have seen all you've been through and as a Grandpa I'm so exited for you both, your parents and Lex's mom which is from my era, the good old 80's! God bless you both!
Blessings during your continued recovery. đ
BAD like Really Awesome...
Hey y'all hella props to ya, he's saying Turn on (Your) light . Gentling his filly so to speak.
Rock Steady
Childhood memories đ old time rock n roll.
This is jolly good. Previously I was only aware of the Badfinger version. Hard to beat Mr Roger's voice.
The way she saysâŠâŠâwhen youâre dealing with greatness you can not give a quantifiable numberââŠâŠlol, so cute.
One of the all time classic rock albums.
Check out the acoustic "Seagull" if you haven't already.
Thank you for this play. Easily one of my top 3 from this group. I request it often. Such a cool passionate groove.
âGood Lovin Gone Badâ should be next
Always my FAVORITE Bad Co song. 2 qualudes and a quart a beer, smoking a doobie and ROCK STEADY. Home boy!! Let the love rock ( flow) and the music ( flow) at the same time.
Bad Company and Free are incredible bands! Their music is so soul- and tasteful and they've got one of the greatest singers of all time: Paul Rodgers!
I love Paul Rodgersâ voice! Bad Company was huge when I was a teenager, so his singing voice always takes me back to the good old days!
Iâm with you Lex, one of my favorite bands if not my favorite, Check out the song âGood Lovin gone badâ by bad company, itâs a banger! đșđ„đžđ§šđŁ
Such a chill tune... I think that's what rock steady means.
Definitely in my top, too, Lex! Can't wait til you get around to hearing Gone,Gone,Gone. You'll love it!
she digs bad company. yeah, ya got a keeper there brad.
Paul Rodgers the lead Singer has a brilliant voice. First of all with the Band âFreeâ in the late 60âs and then with âBad Companyâ. He is still going strong both the band and Solo, a great Artist!
You got it Lex. Just flow and rock steady.
Turn on her light, not the light.
Never forget getting the LP on hearing the single Can't Get Enough. Couldn't stop playing it, the whole thing through, every chance I had.
Man that was some awesome tuneage.
YOU KNOW WHAT IT MEANS...ROCK , ROCK , ROCK, AND ROCK STEADY...TURN ON THE LIGHT SO I CAN SEE YOU LOL
Great song by a great group - sung by a great singer Paul Roger - thanks for your great reaction!
Good lovin gone bad!
For those commenting about the HOF: They only let a few in at a time, and there are a hell of a lot of other bands that aren't in yet too. The major game changers of mainstream rock are pretty much all in: Sabbath, Zeppelin, Beatles, Metallica, Nirvana etc. Bad Company are indeed a great classic rock band, but they weren't exactly game changers. Are they a shoe-in? Of course, but like I said, there are only a few slots each year and a thousand deserving, eligible artists.
Bad Co is another one of my favorite bands..saw them live many times.
Love this song!!!
It's blues-rock, with great players and a world-class lead Sanger.
Lex is on to this one. Gotta remember this band came out early 70's and the Sexual Revolution was still going strong. The messages in music was not explicit and the artists used double entendres and vague lyrics to get the feeling across. I agree with Lex, he's talkin' about music and getting busy.
Rodgers brings the soul vibe to these rock classics. That's why they were a cut above the usual radio pap of the day. Like that fine cigar Lex was vibing about.
Yâall are the best! Love watching your reactions especially to the music that has been with me for years!
This song epitomizes the bands sound in my opinion. Just a great, straight forward, steady rock'n grove.
"Turn on your light" = "Open yourself up to me ... give me the "go ahead"". He also says in the song that when he feels like a little lovin' (When I want to Rock Steady), he has to prepare himself (I know, I've got to get ready) to relax so he will enjoy it, and he's telling the girl this to get her in the mood, so she will open up and let herself relax and enjoy it ... then, once that's done, they can rock steady (make love, and keep it going).
Kids, don't over think it. It's ROCK AND ROLL. This is as good as it gets for a perfect classic rock track. Super tasty guitar riffs. Mick Ralph's is a no bullshit player. Nothing fancy. LOVE IT.
Then you have the perfect rock vocals and solid bass and drums.
It honestly don't get better for me in this genre.
Perfectly, imperfect. Iconic.
Tough to go wrong with Bad Co. ....... saw them years ago when they played with Damn Yankees. Great show.
one the best all around rock and roll singers that ever was and still sounds great in his 70s! I wore this album out in the 80's as a kid!
Yea I've been waiting for this. Thanks guys
It's a sexual innuendo song. "Turn on your light" is a signal that she's ready for his lovin'! The debut Bad Company album was released in 1974 on Led Zeppelin's newly formed Swan Song record label. They were the first artists signed.
Btw, the entire album is excellent. Not hard rock; not soft rock...it's what was known as "p*ssy rock" because girls like me were into them. Remember, this was about a decade before the hair metal bands of the 80s.
Music for adults to get jiggy with it đ
Arguably one of the best rock bands in history and why they're not in the R&R HOF is beyond me.
Not everyone can be in the Hall of Fame. It has to mean something. If you just let anyone in, then it means nothing. I think the reason they aren't in there is because they weren't really revolutionary or influential and there were just too many others with both those qualities to contend with. With that said, I think they are an amazing band, especially so with some of their lesser played songs, but again, it has to mean something...
@@MundoDragon it's because the rock 'n'roll hall of fame is a joke!!!
It's taken them a long time to get bands in there that should have been in there a long time before they were.
It has been infiltrated by bands or groups that have nothing to do with Rock 'n' Roll.
When that started happening they should have renamed the place, music hall of fame.
One song no one ever react to is She brings me love đ€
You're not the only one Lex. Straight ahead rock band pounding out the rhythm. No glitz or glamour or trying to be bad ass needed.
Heavy rock music? Bad Company.
Ah the memories of just riding around on my bike listening too this album it's just an awesome album
He means the light in her mind lol
Perfectly said, you can't give a number, they are just bad ass! Just say that from now on Lex? No number, just Bad Ass when you really like a band! I'll be listening for it in the future! Lol!
This goes back a long way to my early years in college and the foosball hall!
One of my favorites for me also Lex. I've had all their music for a long, long time now.
Lex is in a time warp belongs in the 70s but ended up here instead †bless you Lex â€
This is basic rock and that us what makes Bad Company so good. Its like a good shot of whiskey by itself, nothing else.
Paul Rodgers has one of the best blues voices in the world.
I bought this album as a young teen when it first came out with my own money. I showed my mom and she said, "They look like a bunch of dope smokers,":She then wouldn't give the album back. I then went and bought Tommy by the Who. She would give back my Bad Company album as long as I played those types of records with my headphones on.
Rock steady...
How shall I put this delicately?
In the 70s people did it to music...
Alot
đ There are many double entendras in Rock, but this one is pretty apparent
Bad Company makes me happy. Great music....
Paul Rodgers, the vocalist Jimmy Page wanted for Zep after Terry Reid, from Free.
Mick Ralphs from Mott the Hoople, Boz Burrell from King Crimson. Supergroup
first signing by Peter Grant to Led Zep label Swan Song.I went to see their first
American show at Central Park Band Shell and the announcer said "our special guest Jimmy Page"! Crowd went crazy.
One of top voices if make a list of best singers of all time
Blues master Paul Rodgers just has the right tone for this type of music, like a redolent top flight Cuban cigar rolled on the thighs of young women...
Gotta hear Good Lovin Gone Bad too, nice and loud.
Fell in love with Bad Company when I was 13. Some 50 years later I saw them in concert and they blew me away! Paul Rodgers is still rocking and still sounds amazing!
I remember singing this song when it first came out playing in a band in jr high school playing all over the state of Maine at that time I was playing at school dances, was a BLAST cool tune yeahhhhhhh
The great Paul Rodgers vocals are about as soulful as it gets. The British Born Rocker's first hit song came in 1970 with his first Band "Free." They had the Mega hit song "Alright Now." People say Paul Rodgers, Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin) and Steve
Paul Rodgers was also great in the band : The Free, with their awesome hit from the seventies : Allright Now
I think you'll like it. đžđžđžđ¶đ¶đ¶
Rock Steady is also a genre of music, from Jamaica, which also has its own dance moves.
ha, Les says the tune got a shiny guitar , ha, Love that Guitar . Rock Onj
Lex is right..He's trying to get some.. lol
My first concert back in '74 or 75 I want to see you rock one of those vintage Bad Co. pot leaf t-shirts
That debut album is right up there (for me) with Boston, The Cars, Van Halen and Montrose.
Their song "Deal with the Preacher" is an underrated banger.
Lex is exactly right about the lava lamp. Yup!
Their debut album is epic
Bad Company = ...a delicious cigar. Oh yeah.đ„đ¶ Their sound is so pure and loose...not a lot of technology or extras. Clean and pure "Rock Steady" rockin'.
I always loved Paul Rogers' phrasing and "adlibs."
Back when ALL the singers had distinguishable voices.
He might mean it like turn on your "love light".
"Turn on your love light, let it shine on me" - Bobby Bland (and later Bobby Weir)
Also Can't get enough of your love
Tremendous band and as dependable as hell, they never let you down. From the same, awesome debut album, do Ready for Love, another classic song. There is a truly amazing version of it on their reunion concert Hard Rock Live, the jam at the end will give you chills. Enjoy! đ”đžđ€đčđ¶
My favorite Bad Company Song when Fronting my Bands.
Turn on the lava-lights, and let's just rock steady! đ
Loved this song when I grew up in the 70's
Great rock tune!đȘđ»đž
Bad Company is a super group that was signed to Led Zeppelinâs record label âSwan Songâ
Thank you for sharing this with me đ
Turn on he love light, and rock steady.
the light of your being
My fave by Bad Co.
yOU ALL ARE SO COOL!
This is why every garage had a band in it.
Some of the lyrics seem to be written for Lex. "Close my eyes and let myself go, I listen too and let the music flow".
Bad Company is a great band to intro people to Classic Rock
Bad Company is a classic rock band and the lead singer Paul Rodgers is a phenomenal vocalist and i think his voice got better when he was older you should listen to him when he toured with queen a few years ago
Absolutely my favorite BC song.
He means keep it cool... stay cool and rock steady. Meaning sta-kool
Got to listen to Paul Rodgers with queen singing the show must go on. It's killer!
