Paul Rodgers has the quintessential blues rock voice. I love how he sings effortlessly, then changes gears and really belts it out.
He holds the crown of rock singers for me - his voice says ROCK AND ROLL
Paul Rogers is the best singer of all time.... Check out Queen with Paul Rogers. Song- Show must go on. You'll shit yurself.
My sentiments exactly. He has a perfect voice.
Yeah so mellow and soulful and then he winds it up the turbo comes in and that race tuned V8 roars and snarls
This tune was my introduction to Bad Company back in the day when it first came out. A great band.
same here, awesome band.
The song was almost everybody's introduction to Bad Company, first song on the first side of the first album.
Great British Band.
Bad company has never had a bad song. Love this group
Top 5 for me.
The Firm is a band that features Paul Rodgers and Jimmy Page. "Satisfaction Guaranteed " and " Radioactive " are a couple of songs that come to mind !! đ
reading your comment is gonna make me look for the CD now. This evening after 420 I will listen to The Firm. Right on Michael.
Very underrated band!
My favorite, Midnight moonlight lady
I saw the Firm at the Fabulous Forum - Jimmy in a triangle of laser lights with his violin bow going mad! Midnight Moonlight Lady is a favorite of mine as well.
Yaaassss!!! Radioactive is such a great song.
You can never go wrong with Bad Company
Paul Rogers is one of the greatest rock singers of all time.
Mt Rushmore definitely !!!! đ
No doubt about it.
Paul Rodgers. one of the best voices of his era.
One of the best voices of any era, including all that is to come. IMHO of course
1st song on their 1st album. Was great intro back in the old days. The album track didn't fade out, was a cool rough live in studio kind of ending. You should try Rock Steady & Movin' On from debut album too, great songs. Gone Gone Gone is another great song.
Exactly no fade out! but complete singer and drumming close
Twenty years after, can't get enough of your love,it's great.Paul Rodgers ,one of the best singers in rock history,I just never had enough of his singing !
Lex becomes the music. She feels the soul. Her appreciation for music is palpable. God bless and rock on.
Brad & Lex, youâd like their "Silver, Blue & Gold" and âMovinâ Onâ !!
I donât remember bad company ever doing the loco-motion it was covered by Grant Funk
@@rickclark8657 correct, a Grand Funk Railroad song. Thank you.
And Seagull
this is one of the best classic rock bands of all time. you can listen to any song from any album during the 70's and it'll be good. if there was ever a band worth going down a rabbit hole, this is the band.
Paul Rodgers, bluesy voice, awesome, one of the best in history!
Please do âGood Lovin Gone Badâ by Bad Company, in my opinion itâs one of there best songs! đ„đžđ„đŁđđœ
That's the one!
Agreed!
Diamond Head does a good version of it.
Outside of Burnin' Sky, Good Lovin' Gone Bad is my fave BadCo song, too!
@@Alewifes_Husband I like âRunning with the packâ and âCall on meâ and âSilver blue and goldâ after GLGB
"Steady, reliable, solid Rock music..." pretty good description of Bad Company! Check out "Burnin' Sky"..great, sexy groove, one of their best.
đâźđ
The 70âs baby pure rock , pure horse power
This is one of those essential classic rock radio songs.
Have you reacted to Steve Marriott yet? Started with the Small Faces (who became The Faces, Rod Stewart's backing band) then went on to Humble Pie & various other projects. Absolutely fantastic voice - rather like a higher octane version of Paul Rogers'. Try 30 Days In The Hole or Black Coffee to give you an idea. He died in a house fire about 10 miles from where I live. R.I.P. Steve. A real talent.
This song always sends me back to being about 8 or 9 years old and listening to the Bad Co. self titled album with headphones on in my sister's bedroom on the floor around 1973 or '74 maybe earlier, when this album came out.
Paul Rodgers is as close to the perfect rock singing voice in the business.
The first track on their first album :) This album was a gift on my 16th birthday. I still have it, I still play it. These 4 guys played the main music soundtrack of my young life. Love them â„
I love that i was just old enough to go through my dads records and play them before the internet. I got to filter through so much history and hear the older songs before i got caught up in the current day popular crap. love me them record players
Paul Rodgers has a brilliant voice and is a brilliant rock/blues singer -- and a much-loved lad from the Boro! #UTB
Ready for Love, Bad Company, Shooting Star, Rocksteady, Rock & Roll Fantasy, all these and more are absolute bangers.
1974 - senior year in high school....EVERYONE loved this song!
Of all the blues-rock bands that came from the UK, Bad Co was the most soulful. Many of their songs could have been recorded by R&B artists.
Paul Rodgers vocals are pure British Blues Rock...
Spot on Lex. This was one of the albums that was played continously in the 70's. Rock was based on blues; we can see that most obviously from early Led Zeppelin. For more of Paul Rodgers wonderful rock voice check out his previous band Free and their classic hits 'Alright Now' and 'Wishing Well'.
Good job guysđHe has a very soulful voice, the this bad is absolutely Classic Rock!
8th Grade!! This one and Walk This Way defined the hot sound!! EDIT: That song doesn't fade out! It has a sort of wrap-up ending with the drums and Paul's voice with a little grunt! Paul Rodgers has a very soulful bluesy voice.
Bad Company were the first group signed to Led Zeppelin's label Swan Song. Swan Song Records was a record label launched by the English rock band Led Zeppelin on 10 May 1974. It was overseen by Led Zeppelin's manager Peter Grant and was a vehicle for the band to promote its own products as well as sign artists who found it difficult to win contracts with other major labels.
Best Bad Company LP.......the first one. Like a lot of their other songs, but. Plus, Paul Rodgers is a freak of nature. Lucky us. See him live, effortless range and delivery. I wish...I could replicate his voice. Amazing.
I can tell you love each other. So nice to see, and you are both such nice people you deserve each other.
You guys are a vibe!! Thanks for sharing and be safe!!
I'm a big fan of Paul Rodgers with all the groups he was in. Rock on Brad & Lex
One of the most underrated bands of the 70s great band and sound
Lex, I'm not sure about FL, but here in small town PA you can find a bar band cranking out classic rock at some dive bar - or a nice club - almost any Friday or Saturday night, and often Tuesday, Thursday or Sunday as well.
Phenomenal vocal. Musicianship is top shelf. The pinnacle of Classic Rock.
Always loved this number.
Paul Rodgers is legendary.
This is another classic Shuffle.
Paul Rogers is in his 70s now and still can belt it out. one of the best.
Love your reactions
Bad Company another great band from back in the day, highly recommend, Good lovin' gone bad, and the song Bad Company, so many others, I have said it before I love seeing young people digging the music us older people grew up on, keep them coming watching you two puts me in a good mood!
What an amazing singer â€ïž
That great classic sound that is Bad Company.
Bad Company was the first rock concert I ever seen back in 1979 great show. Check out their not so reacted to song "Running with the Pack".
I grew up and R&B guy. I was always curious about the black T Shirts with Bad Company in white letters I would see kids wearing at school. It wasnât until after they broke up that I bought 10 from 6 and learned for myself.
I was in your land of Florida. I found radio stations played the same 20 songs over and over! In Canada we get a lot more variety.
I think was the first single released from their first album, so the first we heard from the band. Still remains my favorite of theirs. Straightforward blues rock. Nothing hidden in the meaning.
Great job đ I can't get enough of that song!!
beer time with brad and lex !!
Paul Rodgers sounds just as good today. He is one of the greatest singers of all-time.
Ultimate rock star voice.
This is what you call Rock and Roll
Just hit my Bad Company In The Shadows Playlist and listen to that rhythm section doing it's thing.
The track Bad Company and Seagull. Just awesome. Then go back to Free. Your journey is complete.
Running with the pack is a superb bad company track,
Also â wishing well â from the vocalist,s other band â freeâ đžđ
Such a great song!!
Perfect place to pause the song, you're getting better!
I am a big Bad Company fan. The drummer and singer came from the band Free and you should check out their huge hit All Right Now. I kind of think All Right Now is the predecessor to Can't Get Enough. Paul Rodgers is a soulful and bluesy rocker. Free was more blues than Bad Company but they are both so very good. Paul Rodgers has done an all blues cover album with many great guitarists (David Gilmour, Jeff Beck, Brian May and others) called Muddy Waters Blues and it was Grammy nominated. He also did a soul covers album called the Royal Sessions and I believe he used the actual musicians from those soul classics as his backing band.
Movin' On is an absolute belter! Check out Five Finger Death Punch's cover of Bad Comany. Great video, thanks. 70's was definitely the best time for music.
Iâve never heard this song fade out before and only like 15 seconds before itâs proper ending
This was a FANTASTIC skating rink song, when I was little. đ„
It's a shame ... that version cut off a bit early. Brad, I think you are the coolest dude, but I gotta tell you, I just love Lex to death. She IS a keeper, that's for sure. I and happy for you man. You two are going to make great parents.
Bad Company is Bad Company"s best song. On the flawless debut album.
Great Band! Wish they would tour.
If youâre ever in Atlanta check out Blind Willieâs or Smithâs Old Bar.
Beautiful play, I love it!!đ¶đ€©đ„°âš
Could you guys do The Letter by The Box Tops! Thanks for the content, been enjoying your reviews.
Just good âole classic rock!
Great song from an epic debutalbum
Lex, l know what you mean about going somewhere to listen to some classic rock. Well lucky for my husband and I, we found a nice little neighborhood bar with the best jukebox where we get to play all our favorites from the 60's on up or we just stay home and do the same â
You can get the Bad Co. DVD live concert.
Damn that was a least a minute short. Missing more of Rodgers glorious belting and that iconic ending riff. Whoever uploaded that lyric video originally needs to be slapped..lol
Not the first time theyâve picked a version like this. Disappointing.
I was just getting ready to type the same thing. I don't understand why anyone would post a video of an edited song. Makes no sense to me.
You've been listening to this stuff for 40 years, they're barely out of highschool. If we want real, raw reactions then sometimes they're gonna pick a crappy version - especially since youtube started hiding the downvote button they're not exactly big into quality control.
Now if they had somebody pre-filtering material for them, that wouldn't be the worst thing ever.
@@centuryrox Could be worse, they could be reacting to TikTok.
@@theritchie2173 Oh I'm not blaming Brad and Lex for this. I'm blaming the person who uploaded the source video.
Great band
I hear ya Brad. When it's so good you can't get enough of it, it's the real deal.đ
Great song and band. It's from their debut album. Y'all reacted to a few songs from it already. May as well do them all. The whole album is fantastic.
It wasn't a party unless Bad Company was on the stereo!
Check out- GOOD LOVIN' GONE BAD
Love a bit of Bad Company! Paul Rodgers has one of THE best voices ever. Also you need to check out Free (Paul and the drummer here Simon Kirke were both members) Tracks to look for include :Come together in the Morning' 'My Brother Jake' 'Mr Big' (Live) 'Travelling Man' everybody seems to do a reaction to 'Alright Now' and that's it, which doesn't do the band justice.
You guys should react to more Bad CompanyâŠ
"Good Lovin' Gone Bad", "Movin' On", "Silver, Blue & Gold", "Burnin' Sky", "Young Blood", "Rock Steady", "Live for the Music", "The Way I Choose", "Gone, Gone, Gone", "Honey Child", "Weep No More", "She Brings Me Love", "Wild Fire Woman", "Deal With the Preacher", "Easy on My Soul"
đžđ€
Definitely good Lovin gone bad!!
Paul is my cuz ...born and made in Middlesbrough , for real
Gone, Gone, Gone. Crazy Circles. Seagull. They were a hit making machine, like Foreigner...
Maestro Fresh Wes - Let Your Backbone Slide
That bass line!
Paul Rogers one of my favorite Rock singers
*There is an awesome cover band called, "Mad Co." I've seen them sooo many times LIVE because all of Bad Company's songs are great!!!*
đđ«âđŒđ”
I remember playing quarters in middle school to this record.
Bad Co. = the real deal
Brad canât get enough, Lex!!
You can thank the late great 6' 6" Peter Grant for Bad Company being signed to Swan Song. What a great band, what a legendary manager. I saw a documentary on Grant and one time a manager he was paying off the damages to for the hotel that Led Zeppelin demolished was so upset, Peter says why you mad, we paid for the damage? He says I'd like to just once be able to smash stuff and get away with it like you guys - so Peter paid for another demolished room and let the manager smash it up. lol
Bad Co, âSeagullâ, âSilver, Blue, and Goldâ
"Take This Town" is pretty good.
Congrats on the pregnancy!
The song cut to a fade but it doesn't end like that It has final drumming and lead singer closing
Yeah, Paul Rogers is a soulful rock singer. Everyone knows that. He sang with Jimmy Page for a while, after Zeppelin broke up, in a band called the Firm. It was pretty good.
Hey Lex, you're the best. Paul Rodgers, the singer, is one of the best singers of all time.
A Classic song that just about every 70's Garage band learned to cover đ
Got to check out the live act performed by Paul Rodgers and Queen.
Do that classic rock, đ. Paul Rodgers throws in so many things into his vocal, he one of the best
wild fire woman is a good rocker. simple man and she brings me love are good soulful tunes
Paul Rodgers is the man
