- We finally got to investigate the #1 haunted pub on our bucket list - The Skirrid Inn!
Joined by Amy and Jarrad from Amy's Crypt, we explored the history of the oldest pub in Wales and also its ghostly reputation!
Reputedly built in the 11th Century, it was said to have also acted as the local courthouse and execution place, with over 180 people hanged in the stairwell. If this is true, could some of them remain there? And what about Fanny, the well-known ghost of a landlady who passed away there. Is she still looking after the place?

Wow its weird that the Skirrid is a pub/courthouse all in one. Maybe all the judges got some dutch courage by having a ale before judging the condemned prisoners there. So much history and people who came through there means some of them have never left. Great investigation again with Amy's Crypt will be watching the second half now Alison and Kag❤😊Aussie Samoxo

Hi girls and Jarrod wow both of my favourite paranormal investigator duos in one video. That place must be absolutely crammed packed with paranormal activity. The fact that so many people came to a premature end there is very spooky. If I stayed there I wouldn't get any sleep at all. Every creek, knock and tap would have me sitting with knees up with the covers covering my nose with just my eyes showing lol. I totally loved it I saw Amy's video first only to find you guys as well it really made my day as inspector Blakey👨✈ would say. 👍👻👻👻

I believe there has always been an inn there, although they say this could be the second one built onsite. It supposedly doubled as a Court as it was a convenient place to have it. In those days it probably wouldn't have been an elaborate one!
