There is a better fight in the books already. Considering the pace this season went, it will be the climax of season 3. It is up to the animators to properly adapt it at that point.

0:32 Concurrent Chanting. To those who don't know: It's the ability to chant even during Combat. It's apparently not easy to do (I'm guessing it's like that exercise of doing two complicated things at the same time).
A minor Example: Bell originally can't do his Argonaut charge spell without holding still (otherwise he be doing it while still clashing swords with Belka instead of using it like 0:46)
Right on all accounts except that concurrent chanting is ONLY for spells and does not normally apply to skills as Argonaut is unique in its activation where it stores physical stamina (outside of the mind system) and uses that to amplify an action. This is not really concurrent chanting is more like concurrent charging.
Concurrent chanting is described as trying to cross a river on a log with a weight on your back, as it is all about dodging attacks & controlling your mind and attacking.
Concurrent Charging is meant to be similar to this except is using his physical stamina and overcharging could kill him due to the rebound.

OK so this has been irking my nerves for a while now. you guys have to stop acting like the amazons were represented badly. they literally are like Spartans but a female versions of them(literally because they only want the best children born). at least that was how the show was suppose to represent them. imagine a race of warriors who cant breed within there own race not having the urge to reproduce. its kinda important to them.
Also within the Ishtar family they were in the best position that suited there needs. Its like your not even thinking about the other girls and races that weren't warriors and only prostitutes by force. You people are acting like this is the first time this show had some dark undertones. Lilly was abused and used for most of her life. Lyu whole familia was massacred and she went on revenge tour until she was blacklisted. Shit the whole outside world is being ravage by monsters and they don't have level 3 and 4's to come to there aid. So if you ask me the amazons, rather they are in the Ishtar family or the other goddess that soon to show up in the side story, are represented equally as anyone else is.
Its just the sensitive tards who have no life complaining. Outrage culture at its finest. Danmachi have always had dark undertones. The next big arc going forward is just going to delve deeper into the dark side of humanity. Honestly these people who have nothing better to do than to screech and rage over the simplist things should go watch stick figures floating on screen.

I live in the USA and I'm dead tired of the outrage culture. Every show, these ppl always find something to feel insulted about. Its all fake too, they just want attention and to ruin the enjoyment of others for the laughs. This was the best episode of this series thus far, the series has been kinda lackluster with too much story and not even action, given there was only one scene in the dungeon after all. As for the fights, these were good and WELL needed.

This really shows how strong the amazons are in this world since she took a fireball to the gut and it didnât even leave her skin red. It was only the blunt force that knocker her out.
Good moment for Bell, but I think it was a bit more of a triumph in fending off the Toad-Faced psycho.
He no chance of fighting Phyrne who was level 5 whilst he was level 3 (even with Haruhimes Magi a temp lvl boost OP) , tbh he should be commended for even being able to escape from that whilst she was serious.
Aisha is lvl 4 and bells increased stats are equivalent to that so its a matter of experience and will
More of a triumph yes, but i preferred this fight, always more entertaining in my opinion to watch two people of similar strength fight than watching two people of vastly different strengths. It's always one sided save for a few surprise critical hits from the weaker individual.

Itâs a pity the actual animators, (not Crunchyroll) decided to speed through this arc ~LN volumes 6/7/8 so they can start the LN 9 storyline in season 3, would have been far better to either extend this season to 16-20 episodes,
or split this into season 2 and 3 especially since thereâs enough for at lest 6-7 seasons now, witch theyâll condense into probably 4 .
lasarith2 I do hate that itâs rushed. But the plot still does make sense, and the characters still are engaging. Itâs still a fun anime.

Glad you like what you see. After watching season 1, you should continue with sword oratoria anime (a side story that plays alongside season 1). After that you may watch season 2. There is also a great movie that came out this year if you are interested.

Agreed while I like the knives that he had I kept picturing him peeling apples with them , cutting steak with them , and opening letters with them when he's at home especially the one made from the minotaur's horn. Overall longswords should be what he uses from now on or if not those than he can go the conan the barbarian route and use a short longsword instead which is a mix between a short sword and long sword with a thick mid sized balde.
