    If you look at these used you can get a fully loaded one with under 60k miles for under 20k. When you compare it to all of these suvs it's way more value

      I just seen a 2020 LX with 57k miles for only $18,885 no accidents reported 1 owner certified. Might consider this over a 14-19 midsized to full sized pick up. Dont honestly need a truck but its nice. These vans are so sharp and affordable though!

    Americans seem to have poor judgement in regards to practical vehicles. The Sedona is a family vehicle that drives and handles very well. It is comfortable, seats 8 people easily and has all the mod cons that any useless SUV has. I own one and my family adores it. Not everyone is interested in some snobby euro vehicle that spends most of its life in the mechanics emptying your bank account.

    Your review stands out as one of the best I have viewed! I have driven vans and minivans all of my 60 years of driving. My kids and friends were on my case a lot! In my opinion Kia totally nailed it with the Sedona! I feel totally validated! The Sedona is #1 on my buy list!

    Great review. Got all the information I need.
    Just a tip for future videos: have your cameraman focus on whatever it is you're talking about. When you talked about how it handles corners, viewers would have appreciated it more if you'd taken footage of how that looks from outside the car rather than focusing on your face as you talk. Same with the flip up monitor at the back. You explained how to flip it up, it would have been better to SHOW US than tell us.

    After owning a sorento, 4 runner, and highlander we now own a Sedona. There is zero comparison as far as useability. The Sedona drives about the same and has way more room and costs the same or even less. It’s not the coolest vehicle on the road but why do people think a sorento or highlander are cooler. They too are suburban family haulers but just have less space.

    Minivans are pimp. I do a lot of backpacking and my 2017 Sedona is perfect for it. Plenty of room for my and my friend's gear and we're always super comfortable driving to the start of our hikes. The rear space is perfect for changing into clean clothes after finishing our backpacking trip. Having a minivan also lets me drive to a trailhead that is far away the day before, sleep in the back, and then start my backpacking trip the next morning. Oh, and I have more cupholders than you can count.
    Oh, and fun fact, I drove my Sedona for a little over two years without changing the oil. Probably not the best idea, but yeah, I went there.

    This van is identical to the Sedona I drive, minus the roof rack. My only complaint is that I wish the entire steering wheel was leather wrapped, the top part is plastic or something-wrapped. I also wish the fans that cool the seats was a big stronger and provided a little more wind to cool. I love the van otherwise!

  • @stephenhendricks103
    @stephenhendricks103 Před 5 lety +1

    No question that if you need room for more than four passengers and their luggage for a road trip a minivan or one of the full size crossovers is a better choice than a midsize crossover. Frequently, though, the soccer mom image of a van is thought to be a turnoff for men even when practicality would lead them to select a more practical minivan. I'd suggest another explanation for the decline in minivan popularity. In the case of my wife and other women I know it's the higher driver's seating position of a crossover that leads them to prefer it. Earlier this year we looked at both the Kia Sedona and the Sorento for my wife's daily driver and she was adamant that preferred the Sorento for that reason.

  • @mollydog444
    @mollydog444 Před rokem

    My daughter is using my 2006 town and country permanently so i am looking at a 2018 sedona. The thing that bothers me is the Sedona looks massive compared to my 2006 chrysler. Maybe its just an optical illusion. The sedona seems lower to the ground too. Are they making mini vans bigger now than they used to? Also wish the reviewer would show with a measuring tape how much actual flat space in the back length and width withe the seats down snd second row pushed forward.

    Hesitating between 3:
    1) Kia Sedona
    2) Chrysler Pacifica (maybe the Hybrid)
    3) Honda Odyssey

We love our 2001 Astro van. 8 passengers, very comfortable, all passengers have great views of scenery, it can pull our boat or camper and has lots of storage in back but they haven't made them for years now. How about if you just don't give a flying crap of what other people think? Especially if they themselves don't have to pay for it. I drive a minivan and I love it. Is it cool? Probably not. But no other has the size and flexibility without going full blown suburban and even then the money saved over that suburban is amazing, especially these days. It's true I love the old wagon days and I have fond memories in one the minivan offers a bit of relevance, but it should be way more popular still. We have only one kid but in a pinch I can fill her up and go down the road in total comfort and if I am comfortable, I don't care what anyone thinks.
