Queen - Liar [Rock In Rio '85] Can be found on Queen "Rock You From Rio 1985" Queen: Freddie Mercury - Vocals Brian May - Guitar Roger Taylor - Drums John Deacon - Bass Guitar
What about Keep Yourself Alive, Now I'm Here, and Seven Seas of Rhye? Freddie sang those with a 'stache, and they were made around the same time as Liar
Me hubiera gustado que cantaran la parte de "Mama I'm gonna be your slave. All day long" Me encanta esa parte, el duo con Jhon y como suena el bajo luego.
@@williamg209two He probably did that out of memory or how he remembers singing the song back in 1973, when this was first recorded. Then he changed to his powerful, deep, husky voice of the 80s.
freddies voice is deffo struggling with the higher songs he made in the 70s, this one giving him few voice cracks, also he missed 3 quarters of the song, guess cause of his newer deep voice or it's a quick melody
Last time John sang along was either Earl's Court 77 or maybe sometime during the NotW tour. He could have sung along on later versions, but we don't have video of them nor can I recall if I can hear him sing it. I'm not sure what your second question is asking, but if you're referring to this shortened version, they played it this way on only the Works Tour to close the first medley, and then on the Magic Tour as the intro to Tear It Up.
queen played wild songs in full from early 1970-1978 this song was played again in 1979 only a few shows during the crazy tour not many records survived only 1982(hot space tour) Queen played the liar song again in full for the last time until 1984 it was made into a medley with keep yourself alive in 1986 the wild song part was played as a guitar solo before the tear it up song starts
This version differs a lot from other performances
Cause Freddie developed a very different singing style in the 80s
🙋🏾♀️ Interesting Things...💁🏾♀️ That’s cause it’s abbreviated✌🏾!
Amazing to see them sing this in 85
I FEEL SO CURSED SEEING FREDDIE WITH MOUSTACHE SINGING THIS SONG.
What about Keep Yourself Alive, Now I'm Here, and Seven Seas of Rhye? Freddie sang those with a 'stache, and they were made around the same time as Liar
Keep yourself alive?

The start literally sounds like 70s freddie and I'm fookin shooketh
i think he sounds deeper, doesnt sound like 70s freddie
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this
@@aquariusbree the first 3 words do, but the rest is much deeper

Proof that the deep voice he had in the mid 80s was mostly intentional
that voice crack is the most fucking adorable goddamn thing i've ever heard 💙💙💙💙
I can t stop listening this perfomance
People were so happy seeing them perform that.
@@Nina_realismo Exatamente, heheh.
I prefer KYA from the other night at Rock In Rio, mainly due to the guitar in the middle.
I could I.D. Freddie just from his 'S' sound
first time I saw someone reference this! it's true! 😘💕💫
Love these guys, did not love this version, way to short! Listen to the 1974 or 1977 version.
Cathy Russo cause its in a melody lol
I love this version, but I agree with you when you say It's to short.
The 1974 version is godly
@@ashleywintle8570 listen to this version czcams.com/video/fZ8vg6g5GzE/video.html
It wasn't actually *this* short, the release cut so much of the setlists out.
IMPRESIONANTE! FREDDIE EL MEJOR VOCALISTA ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ 🦋 BONITA!!!!!
How strange listen this song in 80s!

What did they do to liar?...
Agreed, I think it's trash here.
This is why I will always prefer 70s Freddie's voice over 80s
