- Four months ago, we found out about this golden retriever who was chained up and miserable. It's been a long road, filled with complications and local politics, but this week, we finally got her - and her lovely puppies - free.
Beautiful Taylor Swift and her puppies are now free from a life of misery and are beginning to realise the world is actually a pretty great place to be...

This infuriating situation is a commentary on just how uncivilized our 'civilization' is. That it took 4 months to get this poor girl to safety, simply because people who mistreat animals have more rights than anyone who wants to help them. I know we're not allowed to lament about it, but really makes my blood boil, what awful people get away with.
Absolutely right this world is mixed up & warped. The law is always towards the aggressor. Animals/ children suffer. So many bad people. Disgusting & totally heartbreaking. This beautiful beautiful girl & her babies suffered so bad. I'm not a violent person but God help anyone if I heard / knew of cruelty.
I'm in South Africa. It's far worse here. The cruelty is overwhelming, there are no state run animal welfares because the government gives no funds to animals, and to go into many of the slum areas is simply too dangerous. I have PTSD from doing welfare work for forty years. Now I watch this channel an know Niall and his angels heal a little bit of my soul.
Until mankind learns to share the planet with all living life forms then we are a long way from being civilised 😢

Unfortunately it happens in all places in the world, I’m in Canada and there a lot of irresponsible backyard breeders here too. I’ve never witnessed a dog like Taylor here but I don’t doubt it happens.
Sterilization is a good way to protect our dogs from stealers and dog trafficking (wich is a huge problem everywhere). Once sterilized, dogs lose their value to them. I understand completely Niall's point of view. Thank you Niall 😘

Thailand's heat must be very tough on a breed like a Golden Retriever. So glad Niall was able to rescue these beautiful dogs. The use and abuse of dogs as breeding machines is obscene. They will no doubt get great homes and have a wonderful future. Retrievers are wonderful dogs. ❤
Goldens have a double coat that helps them stay cool and warm! You'd be surprised how well they cope in warmer climates 💛

This is happening also in the UK. Supposed to be regulated for breeding but when there are people willing to pay for a dog there will always be people in it for the money. Education and sterilisation is the way forward. Thank you for your patience in rescuing this adorable loving family 🙏
In Germany too. 😢 The people are crazy for Golden Retrievers and French bulldogs.

It’s a huge problem in the southern USA. We call them backyard breeders. They have little/ no regulation. So frustrating
In France too. There is a huge traffic of dog's stealing, dog's breeding, that is so important to sterilize your dog and to put a chip on it, it protects them at least a bit. Especially if it's a beautiful dog or a purebred dog; certain breeds are particularly stolen.

The reality is ..stories like this are happening all over. People breed dogs for money and don’t care about caring for them. We all need to promote “spay and neuter” and adoption from rescues and shelters. Thank you for saving more lives.

I find myself getting so angry with people who buy dogs from breeders. I have rescued every dog I've ever had. They might not have had "perfect" looks, but they were perfect dogs for me. If people would stop buying, we could put the breeders out of business. There are so many dogs and cats in shelters needing homes, and most of them are so grateful to be adopted.

It's not buying from breeders that's the issue really (although obviously we'd prefer if everyone rescued), it's the backyard breeders and the ones who don't care about the dog's welfare unless they're making money that cause the issues with illness, overpopulation, and neglect. Education is so important :(

As a mom to 2 Goldens we rehomed one at 12months, bought during lockdown for €1,500 and within 9 months he was being moved on, we adore him & shower him with love as they are a breed who adore humans above all. So sad that people use the cute puppy affect for breeding or get the cute puppy without realising they grow up into big dogs with needs! Great to see Taylor saved. Nothing quite like the love you’ll get from a Golden!! From a biased Mom🤣🤣

I had a male and female EBT and they had 6 pups back in 2011. We kept 2 of the pups along with mom and dad and still keep in touch with the families who have the other 4. After getting involved with animal rescue 3 years ago and see how terrible the situation is I can't imagine EVER having puppies or buying from breeders again. I still have 1 of the 4 EBT's and he is 13 but we foster females and when my boy is no longer with us I will ONLY foster and adopt. It's a sad state of affairs in our animal welfare system. It's a stain on humanity what we do and allow to happen to these innocent creatures with little cosequence to those perpetuate the cruelty. Bless you and your organization and all that you sacrifice to save these innocent lives.

Какие же они красивые и добрые собаки породы Золотой Ретривер, их обижать у кого на них рука поднялась или держать на цепи это вообще кощунство...эти собаки созданы для любви к людям... Собаки этой породы отличное успакоительнге средство, они очень добрые по природе своей...они отличные повадыри, из них получаются отличные спасатели или поисковики т.к. у них отличный нюх и они с удовольствием помогают людям... А щенки какие же они мимимишные, такие бутузики залижут до смерти и как на них рука подымается...я не представляюю на сколько же это надо быть бездушным и черствым человеком что бы обижать такую природную красоту...
Я вот своего золотого малыша 10 летнего поглажу и у меня давление нормализуется и весь негатив исчезает напрочь, они еще лечат людские души, главное полюбить малыша и он ответит вам темже... Вообще собаки они добрые по природе своей , это плохая жизнь и злые люди делают их агрессивными...не обижайте животных, пройдите мимо но не приченяйте им боль...они не заслуживают к себе плохого отношения...животных надо любить и мир будет добрее и красивее 😊 и ваша жизнь изменится к лучшему 😊😊😊

At least Taylor can concentrate on having a great life with a new family when she's ready. Congratulations to Teddy for getting adopted so quickly. I'm sure it won't be long before Taylor and Christina get adopted. I hope Christina gets spayed and Teddy neutered so they live a carefree life of not being used for profit. So happy for them to be free.

Niail I saw you commented about education and you’re right. Unfortunately empathy and compassion cannot be taught, but I’ve had dog owners who seem like good people argue with me over the breeding problem. They think it’s exaggerated and buying a puppy at a store isn’t part of the problem. It is!!!! Sterilization is key!!! When the dogs aren’t capable of being your dollar-maker they will be free of a life like this. Sorry for the rant and for anyone who’s ever adopted a rescue I don’t know you but I have ❤for you and you have a friend in Miami. ❤❤❤

It’s so terrible . I bred within FCI for 3 years and literally could no longer put of fear the puppies are going to be used in breeding illegally. I could have had 21 liters in 3 years , instead I had 4. I went through so many phases , from anger with how many legal breeders act, absolute rage over how illegal breeders act to a sense of a compete defeat and finally acceptance that if I can’t guarantee 100% a happy safe and loved lives for my “babies” it’s best I stop. And I did. It tears my heart apart to hear that this mom is most likely to fall victim to breeders who would want to profit off her puppies. Just heartbreaking.
Oh god , a year and a half and puppies already being this big breed? It’s not heartbreaking. It’s killing 😭😭😭😭😭 thank you for saving her. Please make sure the puppies are sterilized too before landing with new families
Breeders are the bane of a rescue person's existence. Nobody who cares about dogs would create more while millions die in shelters.
Thank you for finishing breeding! There are so many dogs who need a home out there, we should stop "producing" more and more dogs. And the animal protection laws should change to become more harder, everywhere, in EU too. Because Germans buy "cheap" dogs in Poland from horrible breeders.😢😢

Lovely family! Love to see them! Niall, I don’t really understand the local politics behind freeing the poor abused dogs that need your help and I understand that you can’t get into specifics but maybe you can make a video explaining generally what it’s like. Not talking about any specific case (or maybe explain old past situations if possible) so that we can understand how it’s done and what are the challenges. I assume the authorities are not helping otherwise it wouldn’t take so long to free the dogs but I’d like to understand the process. If you can do that without compromising future rescues that be great! Thanks for saving them and keep up the good work! 🙏❤️
It's more that every case is different, much as we're sure it is across the world, so we can't really explain. There will be different situations and people involved in each and we often have to tread carefully. It's not that we don't want to explain, just that we need to put the dogs' safety first ❤
